Starring Kingsley Ben-Adir, Lashana Lynch and James Norton, Bob Marley: One Love is based on the life of iconic reggae singer-songwriter Bob Marley, whose “message of love and unity” continues to inspire generations more than 40 years after his death.

The movie is set to follow Marley’s (Ben-Adir) rise to international fame to his death in 1981.

UPDATE 3/29/24: Bob Marley: One Love was officially released on digital platforms on Tuesday, March 19.

As of now, the only way to watch Bob Marley: One Love is to head out to a movie theater when it releases on Wednesday, Feb. 14. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until it becomes available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube and Amazon, or becomes available to stream on Paramount+. UPDATE 5/8/24: Bob Marley: One Love officially became available to stream on Paramount+ on April 12.

Yes, Bob Marley: One Love will be on Paramount+ since it’s being distributed by Paramount Pictures. While a release date for the film has not yet been announced, we can make an estimate based on another movie that was recently distributed by the studio.

Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie was released in theaters on Sept. 29 before coming to Paramount+ on Nov. 14 — about 45 days after its initial release. If Bob Marley: One Love follows the same pattern, it should be available to stream on the platform by late March 2024.

WILL BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE BE ON HBO MAX?

No, Bob Marley: One Love will not be on Max since it’s not a Warner Bros. movie. The platform — previously known as HBO Max — also no longer does direct-to-streaming releases. Instead, they’ve implemented a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the Max release.
