Ashley Park is officially back on set filming Season 4 of Emily in Paris following her startling septic shock hospitalization.

Park, who stars as Mindy in the hit Netflix sitcom, missed some of Season 4 filming after suffering a health scare in December 2023 in which she nearly died. Thankfully, she’s since recovered and has been sharing optimistic updates on her social media since.

“First day back to work 🥹🥰,” she shared on Instagram this weekend, per Deadline. “takin it slow, steady, and stylin in Mindy’s shoes again… #emilyinparis.”

The post includes a snapshot of a rows of shoes behind a leopard robe spelling out her character’s name, as well as a hot chocolate station that she set up to express her gratitude for her “dearest cast and crew.”

“Merci for the warm welcome back to Emily in Paris after your first few weeks of filming…,” a note alongside four stacks of cups reads. “Sorry to be late to the party! So happy to see you all again! Bisous bisous, Ashley (“Mindy”).”

Last month, Park broke the news on Instagram that what “started as tonsillitis” ultimately became “critical septic shock, which infected and affected several of [her] organs” while on vacation.

“I am grateful that my health has improved despite what we had initially been told,” she wrote, eventually assuring fans that she was “gonna be okay.”

Later in January, she updated fans again via Instagram that she was “recovering and resting in Paris,” where filming is taking place on the latest installment of the series. Emily herself, star Lily Collins, paid her a visit, as Park shared a snap of the two and thanked Collins for “the couch cuddles” in the post.

“I couldn’t be more excited to join them all on set for Season 4,” Park had written at the time.

As for Emily in Paris, a Season 4 release date has yet to be announced. Seasons 1 through 3 are now streaming on Netflix.
