Just as the winter is doing its worst, the season finale of Southern Hospitality is here to warm things up. During their stellar sophomore outing, the employees of Charleston’s Republic Garden & Lounge have continued to step up, allowing Bravo fans to get a glimpse of the hard work and drama behind King Street’s bustling nightlife scene. One move that has shaken the delicate structure of Republic? Emmy Sharrett‘s promotion from VIP server to Assistant General Manager.

While most of the staff are thrilled for her—especially her bartender boyfriend/soon-to-be law student Will Kulp—others are not. Offended by Sharrett’s aggressive push to land the job as VIP manager earlier in the season, Maddi Reese did not miss her chance to demean Sharrett and question her path to success. Given the drama that went down between the two earlier this season, Reese’s reaction was not a surprise. The most surprising reaction belonged to VIP manager Joe Bradley, who threw a hissy fit at the thought of working for Sharrett.

Bradley, who has been called the “face of Republic” in the past, felt passed over for the role Assistant GM…even though he was never actively vying for the position. After his mini-rampage on the night of Sharrett’s promotion, Bradley proceeded to talk a lot of crap about Sharrett. He even went on to attack Sharrett’s relationship with Bradley’s supposed bestie, Kulp. How do we know this? We have the exclusive clip above!

VIP server Aria Joseph starts the scene from tonight’s season finale with a bomb. As she is talking to Sharrett and Kulp in the alley of Republic, she does not mince her words: “Joe was saying that you and Will are going to break up as soon as he goes to law school.” As Sharrett and Kulp look at each other, and Kulp speaks first: “What a piece of shit.” Joseph adds, “He said he has no faith in your relationship.” “Personally, I have a really big issue with Joe,” Sharrett starts, “but professionally, I don’t have the time, and I’ll talk to Joe later in the week.” As Sharrett maturely goes about her duties at Republic, Kulp immediately goes to confront Bradley.

Totally unaware of what’s about to befall him, Bradley blithely joins Kulp and Joseph for a conversation in the alley. “Thursday night, you said some shit about Emmy,” Joseph begins, “you said she and Will are gonna break up as soon as he goes to law school.” Stunned, Bradley stammers, “I don’t want you guys to break up.” “So what you are saying is ‘I don’t want you to break up, but I think that you will,” exclaims Kulp.

“Last thing I wanna do is end on a bad note with one of my best friends before he leaves for law school,” says Bradley. “Then don’t fucking talk shit about us, Joe,” snaps Kulp. “Everything I said to Aria, I don’t remember saying it,” says Bradley lamely. “Yeah, but do you think it? Do you believe it?” asks Kulp. After a beat, Bradley responds, “I’m not ruling it out.” The scene then cuts to Bradley in his confessional. “I don’t have any facts and I don’t wanna gossip,” says Bradley to the camera, “but all I know is that Will is a bad drunk.”

“When he gets to that level, he’s not exactly the most well-behaved guy,” says Bradley, referring to an incident earlier this season where Kulp was questioned for going into a bathroom with a woman who was not Sharrett. “Doesn’t really seem that farfetched that he would make out with another girl if he was in law school,” states Bradley firmly. Can Kulp and Bradley repair their friendship? Will Sharrett get to confront Bradley herself? Tune in to tonight’s Southern Hospitality season finale to find out!
