Joy Behar and her fellow co-hosts on The View had a hard time wrapping their heads around Donald Trump‘s latest money grab: a sneaker line featuring $400 golden high-tops engraved with a signature “T,” red bottoms and the American flag.

The former POTUS revealed his pricey new collection at a sneaker conference in Philadelphia over the weekend — just days after he was ordered to pay a whopping $355 million for allegedly defrauding banks about the value of his assets.

“What a loser he is,” Behar scoffed, before joking, “Maybe his supporters who buy them will be able to run faster from the Capitol police in these sneakers.”

Meanwhile, Sunny Hostin couldn’t help but put on her legal hat when she noticed the similarities between Trump’s shoe design and other bigwig brands.

“I’m gonna be petty just for a second. Those shoes are a knockoff of Gucci shoes,” Hostin pointed out. “I’m wondering if he has some more civil suits heading his way for perhaps trademark infringement. Just giving some ideas to some attorneys.”

The topic came back up later in the conversation when Behar noted that Trump is selling the shoes for $400 a pop, while signed editions are going for as high as $9,000.

“These are the same people who complain that the gas is too high, this is too high. And now all of a sudden they have money for these tacky sneakers?” she wondered, before comparing the merchandise to “Hitlerian” objects.

“By the way, somebody I know said, ‘I’m gonna buy it because  it’ll be worth money down the line,'” she added. “Really, maybe 100 years from now. Even Hitlerian stuff doesn’t really sell. Only to Neo-Nazis.”

However, Whoopi Goldberg was more concerned with the quality of the shoe — or potential lack thereof.

“Let them buy what they want,” she said. “When they’re running down the street because they think they got a good hour run to do and it starts coming off their feet because it falls apart like a $2 you-know.”
