Who Is Jess from ‘Love Is Blind’ Dating?

Love Is Blind isn’t just a Netflix show. Factoring in all the news updates, social media tea, and tell-all interviews, Love Is Blind is a full-on multimedia experience — so much so that even cast members who don’t get engaged have a way of staying in the spotlight. That’s especially true of Jessica Vestal, an executive assistant and single mom who came so close to getting a ring from good ol’ boy Jimmy Presnell. So what if he chose a rocky AF engagement to Chelsea Blackwell? According to Vestal, she’s got another thing going with another guy from Love Is Blind.

The tease came in Thursday’s episode of The Viall Files, hosted by one-time Bachelor lead Nick Viall. While Jess didn’t reveal the name of the beau in question, she did drop some hints when Viall asked her if she was attracted to anyone in the cast: “I can’t say. I’m still trying to sort things out right now… I had another strong connection [on Love Is Blind].”

She continued, saying that Love Is Blind sleuths “could probably use context clues if you look at the cast, but I’m not saying any names.” Okay, well, that sounds like a challenge, Jess!

So, who is Jessica maybe dating from Love Is Blind? If she hit it off with a guy besides Jimmy, which she says she did, it did not make the final edit. In the pod portion of Season 6, Jess is only shown going on dates with Jimmy. Okay — there’s a five second date with Season 6 pod villain Matthew, but that’s hardly enough for a “strong connection.” In the Viall interview, Jess says that she likes tall men with beards and tattoos, “but if they don’t have that, I might be okay with [just] tall, dark and handsome.” Remember: Love Is Blind casts 15 men per season but usually one gives around 6 of them screen time. Could she be dating one of the pod randos?

“Beard and tattoos” makes it sound like she likes an edgier guy, so all the guys in suits are probably out (unless they’re hiding full sleeves under their sport coats). If Jess has found a guy in this cast with a beard and tattoos, I think the likeliest candidates are Ariel (32, mortgage broker) or Austin (27, software sales).

Granted, I know nothing about these men other than they have beards, a more rugged vibe, and at least one tattoo between them. There is, of course, a truly chaotic option that would be :chef’s kiss: — and I’m talking about Trevor.

What if Jess, the girl Jimmy passed over for Chelsea, is dating Trevor, the guy Chelsea passed over for Jimmy??? Please, please let that be the case, and let all of this drama be litigated in the eventual After the Altar episodes for Love Is Blind Season 6.

While we don’t have a solid answer just yet, Jess did reveal that we will absolutely know who it is when she’s ready to talk about it. “I’ve learned to hold my cards closer to my chest with things like that until I know,” said Jess. “Believe me, the world will be sick of me when I’m dating someone. It’s going to be so in everyone’s face. I’m going to be so public and so proud of it, you will know.”
