Lifetime’s 2024 slate of ripped-from-the-headlines movies, uh, comes to a pause with the release of Hunting Housewives. While Bravo’s housewives have gotten up to all sorts of wild and dangerous shenanigans over the past few decades, we’re pretty sure none of them have ever been hunted for sport. The closest we’ve come to seeing that happen is with Larsa and Phaedra on The Traitors Season 2, and at least on that show the murders are all just for show.

That means that Hunting Housewives is a work of pure fiction, unrestrained by the admittedly loose rules of logic and decency that govern the lives of the IRL housewives. The film stars two franchise veterans, Denise Richards and NeNe Leakes, as pampered and posh housewives who end up stranded in the wilderness after a plane crash. Making matters worse?
