‘Jackass’ Star Bam Margera Tears MCL In Brutal Skateboarding Fall

Bam Margera took a nasty spill while filming some of his skateboarding skills and it was all caught on tape. He shared the video via his Instagram account, which you can view below.

In the clip, the pro skateboarder speeds around the skatepark, revving up for a trick when his left foot suddenly touches the ground but his body keeps going. Margera immediately hits the floor and starts writhing in pain.

The former Jackass star lets out a loud “F***!” while holding his knee on the ground. His friend didn’t seem to know what to make of the injury at first but according to Bam, he headed straight to the hospital.

Margera has luckily managed to avoid surgery and instead only needed a knee brace and some crutches.

He shared a few pictures of himself in a wheelchair with his fiancée Dannii Marie by his side at the hospital.

An MCL tear is essentially a stretch, partial tear, or complete tear of the medial collateral ligament. Bam kept his fans updated on his situation via his burner IG account.

Back in December, Margera hit 120 days of sobriety and was granted monitored visitations with his son Phoenix after a tumultuous year of rehabs and legal battles.

Hopefully he recovers from his injury and gets back to skating soon.
