You might be watching the Oscars live broadcast tonight, but we’re stuck on a commercial from three weeks ago that features Jury Duty star Ronald Gladden.

In a commercial for Swash laundry detergent, the beloved reality TV subject sits on the jury for a legal case arguing that a “tiny bottle” of the branded detergent can clean a towering stack of dirty clothes.

“So, why do other detergents make you use a big cup,” Gladden asks his fellow jury members. The woman on the stand argues that it’s a tactic other brands use to push sales for “bigger jugs.” (Awkward!)

After it is demonstrated that “a squeeze is all you need” to wash a load of laundry, Gladden applauds.

The television personality has been on the up and up since his appearance in the Emmy-nominated reality show.

In 2023, it was announced that Gladden had signed a two-year deal with Amazon MGM Studios to produce, develop, and appear in new content.

He has also previously filmed an ad for Mint Mobile, a network operator partially owned by Ryan Reynolds.

Gladden appears shirtless in a second commercial for Swash that insinuates the jury removed their clothes for a demonstration of how little detergent is needed to wash a load of laundry.

Keep your eyes peeled for these ads during the Oscars award ceremony. You may catch Gladden on your screen once or twice while you’re watching Hollywood’s biggest celebrities take home the gold.
