In honor of Charrisse Jackson-Jordan’s chaotic crab boil on Sunday night’s (March 10) episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Andy Cohen looked back on the most iconic crab moments in Bravo history on Watch What Happens Live — and one crab-related confession from Broadway star Patti LuPone might leave you shocked.

During Sunday’s “Watch What Happens 5” segment, Cohen counted down the top five crab moments on Bravo, including Southern Charm star Craig Conover‘s crab pillows and Kenya Moore‘s “shellfish behavior” when she annoyed her castmates by ordering “a crab cake for herself and nothing for anyone else” on an episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

The most jaw-dropping clip, however, shows LuPone admitting to having crabs — as in the sexually transmitted disease pubic lice — twice.

The wild confession came during an April 2020 episode of WWHL in which Cohen played a game of “Patti LupOWN Your Truth” with the actress. The game required drag icon Alyssa Edwards to read scandalous things LuPone may or may not have done, leaving Cohen to guess if she had done it.

“Has Patti ever had crabs?” Edwards asks at one point in the video.

While the Bravo boss initially says no, LuPone enthusiastically admits, “Twice!” to which a shocked Cohen then replies, “I feel like everyone in New York in the ‘80s and ‘90s had it at least once.”

Meanwhile, present-day Cohen couldn’t hold back his laughter while rewatching the hilarious clip, telling the audience, “Our COVID shows were so good.”

With that memory coming in at No. 2 on the list, Cohen saved the first place spot for another Patti — Patti LaBelle, who was served a plate of crabs just before the power in the studio went out, leaving everyone in the pitch black.

“Those were the bad old days. Fifteen years ago,” Cohen said as he rewatched the clip, before playfully adding, “There’s been a lot of crabs on Bravo. Your move, shrimp!”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
