Max is “the one to watch” for Oscar winners, movie stars, HBO series, live sports, and so much more… and right now, you can snag a major discount ahead of some very exciting premieres and the kickoff of March Madess.

From now through April 9, all three of Max’s annual plans are discounted between 42% and 45% off the typical annual subscription prices. The price breakdown looks a little something like this:

  • With Ads: normally $99.99/year, now $69.99
  • Ad-Free: normally $149.99/year, now $104.99
  • Ultimate Ad-Free (4K UHD streaming): normally $199.99/year, now $139.99

Unlike some other streaming deals, there are zero restrictions on who is eligible for this deal — none! New and returning subscribers can choose an annual plan at a discount, and current monthly Max subscribers can upgrade to an annual plan at the lower price.

How to Get the Max Annual Plan Deal:

To take advantage of Max‘s annual plans discount, simply head over to the streamer’s homepage and scroll down to “Find Your Perfect Plan.”

From there, toggle over to “yearly” and select the plan that works best for you — you’ll see a breakdown of exactly what each plan offers, along with the discount pricing.

Then, make an account, enter your payment details, and start streaming! You won’t even have to think about paying for Max again for another 364 days.

There’s a lot to look forward to this year on Max, formerly known as HBO Max, so the deal comes with excellent timing. The streaming service includes the Bleacher Report Sports add-on, which allows subscribers to watch any live sports on TNT, TBS, and Tru TV at no extra cost — this is conveniently where a bulk of this year’s March Madness games will be airing!

Of course, the service also has hit movies like Wonka, Barbie, Dune (and likely Dune: Part Two later this year), with recent A24 titles including Priscilla and Dream Scenario. Two-time Oscar winner The Zone of Interest will be coming to Max in just a few weeks on April 5, and thanks to a new deal with Studio Ghibli, this year’s Best Animated Feature, The Boy and the Heron will also fly onto Max this year.

Max is also home to all things HBO and Max Originals — original series like Euphoria, the currently-airing The Regime, House of the Dragon are all on Max right now, and The Sympathizer, Hacks Season 3, and House of the Dragon‘s highly anticipated second season are set to premiere within the year.
