The Bear has already started filming Season 3 in Chicago — resulting in some interesting photos from set — but we’re already hearing there could be more in store for the Emmy Award-winning show.

Deadline reports that the FX on Hulu series has reportedly been renewed for a Season 4, though FX has not confirmed or announced the news themselves.

With production already underway in Chicago, The Bear Season 4 will reportedly be filmed back-to-back with Season 3 to accommodate the stars’ busy schedules.

Sources say there is also a possibility that the show will be renewed again for Season 5.

As Deadline notes in their reporting, the move raised concerns that Season 4 could be the show’s series finale, as Atlanta was similarly renewed for Seasons 3 and 4, which also filmed back-to-back, before it ended for good.

Series star Jeremy Allen White shared his hopes for The Bear Season 3 at this year’s SAG Awards, saying he hopes his character Carmy “gets a happy ending.”

“I think that’s all I really hoped for. That he learns how to understand himself a little bit better and appreciates what he has and then finds some peace,” he said, per a previous Deadline report.

The season renewal comes as no surprise considering how The Bear cast swept this year’s awards season. The show won 10 Emmy Awards this year for Season 1, boding well for how Season 2 will do at next year’s ceremony.

Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach all received the first Emmys of their careers, soon after White and Edebiri also won Golden Globes and SAG Awards for their performances on the show.

The Bear Season 3 premieres in June. A premiere date for Season 4 has not yet been announced.
