YouTuber MrBeast Pairs With Prime Video For ‘Beast Games,’ The “Biggest Reality Competition Series Ever” In Which 1,000 Contestants Face Off For $5 Million

Youtuber MrBeast will be teaming up with Prime Video to launch a new reality competition series with a huge cash prize.

In a press release shared with Decider, Prime Video boasts that Beast Games will be “the biggest reality competition series ever” with 1,000 contestants competing for “the biggest single prize in the history of television and streaming”: $5 million.

The show will stream in over 240 countries and territories across the world.

“My goal is to make the greatest show possible and prove YouTubers and creators can succeed on other platforms,” MrBeast said in a statement included in the release. “Amazon gave me the creative control I need to try and make it happen. I hope to make the YouTube community proud.” 

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has become the most subscribed to YouTuber in the world thanks to his massive giveaways and philanthropy.

Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios, expressed how “excited” the streamer feels about working with MrBeast.

“MrBeast has captured the attention and imagination of fans of all ages, from all walks of life, and all over the world,” she said. “We are excited to work with Jimmy and his talented team to bring his brilliant, high production, and stakes-raising concepts to Beast Games for our global customers to experience.”

In a statement shared to X, the YouTuber boasted that the reality series will surely break “many other world records.”

“I’ll reveal more later this year but let’s just say, it’s gonna be an insane show :D,” he wrote.

MrBeast is attached to executive produce and host the series. A premiere date has not yet been announced.
