Drake Bell responded to a shocking video that showed the cast of Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide laughing about the bombshell revelations made in Quiet on Set, in which Bell revealed he was sexually abused by a Nickelodeon employee when he was a teenager working with the network.

In the video, Ned’s Declassified star Devon Werkheiser can be seen on TikTok Live, laughing with other people who are off-screen. “Give me your holes!” he jokes at one point, before turning back to the camera and saying, “Sorry, we shouldn’t be joking about this. We really shouldn’t.” He later clarified, “This is about us. And our set was not like that.”

TMZ identified one of the people in Wekhesier’s video as Lindsey Shaw, who also starred on the sitcom.

Bell fired back on X, calling them “Ned’s Declassless.”

“This is wild…laugh it up guys…laugh it up…”Give me your h*les?!!” Really?!” he wrote.

Quiet on Set marked the very first time Bell came forward as the unnamed minor whom dialogue coach Brian Peck was jailed for sexually abusing in 2004.

After facing backlash on social media, Werkheiser issued an apology to Bell on X, releasing a statement in which he admitted that he hadn’t seen the documentary until after doing the TikTok Live.

“So sorry to Drake. Gutted I hurt you,” he wrote in a post on X, accompanied by a screenshot of a statement that read: “I was being an idiot today. No way around it. I feel horrible that my dumbass was even speaking about this without seeing it. I watched Quiet on Set tonight and am horrified by the gravity of what Drake and others shared. Truly heartbroken about what my fellow actors went through. I can’t believe they weren’t protected. I’m sorry for compounding any hurt.”

The video later showed Werkheiser trying to address Bell’s claims more seriously, adding, “No it’s f**king awful, the Drake Bell s**t, that’s crazy to hear. That is f**ked, man. And that never came out, which is really wild.”

Werkheiser later began laughing again when a viewer commented that they were “in on it,” insinuating that they were involved in the allegedly inappropriate work environment at Nickelodeon. “I’m not talking about this anymore,” he said while laughing. “Guys, we can’t joke like this. Sometimes humor helps us move through things.”

Bell wasn’t the only former child star to speak out against the shocking video. Bell also reposted a video from Zoey 101 star Alexa Nikolas, who similarly slammed the former Nickelodeon actors, writing, “Really sad and disturbing to see some other Nick stars joking around and cracking jokes around child sexual abuse on tiktok.”

Gary LeRoi Gray, a child actor who appeared in the Disney series Even Stevens and did voice acting on several Nickelodeon animated shows as a teenager, also weighed in on the controversial video on X.

“I am notorious for going against the grain & advocating for (safe and beneficial to the CHILDREN) good spaces in the industry for children. I always say it’s possible,” he wrote. “I didn’t have the experience that a lot did on #QuietOnSet did either But to laugh about it is disgusting.”

Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV is now streaming on Max.
