Did you know that every March 25, the Tolkien Society and readers all over the world celebrate Tolkien Reading Day?
It’s the day, in the Lord of the Rings canon, when the Lord of the Rings (Sauron) is defeated and Barad-dûr falls, and it just so happens that this year, it falls on the last day of the Amazon Big Spring Sale.
So, to encourage more reading of J.R.R. Tolkien’s work, Amazon is running a Kindle book sale on a whopping 33 Tolkien titles, all for as low as $1.99 each. The sale includes The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, of course, but you can also snag all History of Middle-Earth books for $2.99 or less.
You can read them on any Kindle e-reader (which you can score on sale for just a little while longer!) or with the Kindle app on smartphones and tablets, so as long as reading Kindle books works for you, these are some incredible deals when you compare the low prices to those of the physical books.
Below, check out a few of the sale titles, but you can scroll them all for yourself on the Tolkien Reading Day hub on Amazon.
