Former Nickelodeon star Allie DiMeco shared an uncomfortable experience she alleges to have had while filming The Naked Brothers Band. Her story comes amid the numerous shocking revelations that have recently come out in light of the Quiet on Set docuseries.

In a video shared on TikTok, the actress recalled an episode in which her character, Rosalina, “cheated” on Nat Wolff‘s character with a man named Michel (Jake Hertzog).

“They made me kiss this 30-plus-year-old man,” she recalled. Hertzog would have been 23 at the time of the 2009 episode — according to his bio on All About Jazz, which lists his birth year as 1986 — while DiMeco was approximately 14 years old.

“I told them many times I didn’t want to do it, my mom was very against it, and they just pretty much made me feel like I was going to lose my job and be fired if I didn’t do it.”

She revealed that the storyline made her a target in real life.

“It was a scripted show and a lot of kids thought it was a documentary and real life, and people — particularly girls — wanted to fight me in real life. I didn’t have fans because they thought it was real life and they thought that I kissed this greasy-ass, dusty ass dwarf,” DiMeco said.

The TikTok video included a recording of one of the scenes she starred in with Hertzog.

“I’m sorry to this man but I did not want to kiss him… I’m sorry, I couldn’t even watch it, it gave me the ick,” she said.

Hertzog worked with the Wolff brothers, according to All About Jazz. He reportedly served as the The Naked Brothers Band’s musical director and lead guitarist and performed with them on tour.

DiMeco later expanded further on her experience working on The Naked Brothers Band. “It was, from what I’m understanding, probably the healthiest set out of all the Nickelodeon shows, however, it did have a lot of toxic and not-so-healthy aspects,” she said.

She added that watching Quiet on Set has stirred up uncomfortable memories for her, claiming it gives her PTSD.

“I’m watching this Quiet on Set documentary and it’s talking about how integral and vital it is to create — especially when it’s a kids cast — to create an environment where kids feel comfortable to say no, or ‘I don’t feel comfortable with this,'” she said. “I’m like yeah, maybe they do express that, but also it’s more important to create an environment that listens to the kids and actually does not make them do things when they do not want to do them.”

She later concluded her video by noting that they took her “first kiss away.”

“They made me kiss this guy multiple times and I always got hate for it,” she said, noting that the experience has given her “PTSD and trauma.”
