Where Is Hoda Kotb? ‘Today’ Host Replaced By Willie Geist

Jenna Bush Hager was missing her partner-in-crime during Wednesday’s (March 27) broadcast of Today With Hoda & Jenna.

Hoda Kotb was mysteriously absent during the broadcast despite the fact that she co-anchored The Today Show earlier this morning with Savannah Guthrie.

The Today host was instead replaced by Sunday Today host Willie Geist, who dished to Bush Hager about his recent appearance on Curb Your Enthusiasm and his debaucherous bachelor party before his 2003 wedding to his wife, Christina.

He joked that they did “lots of Bible study” during his bachelor party, which they spent “spreading the good word.”

“It was the cliche Hangover bachelor party, without all the things that happened in the movie,” he joked.

While Geist and Bush Hager did a great job together interviewing the cast of Apple TV+ series Loot, us loyal Today With Hoda & Jenna viewers can’t help but wonder: Where is Hoda?! Here’s what we know.

Where Is Hoda Kotb?

Bush Hager did not share a reason for Kotb’s absence during the broadcast. Today did not return Decider’s request for comment by time of publication.

The co-hosts have both missed a few days from the show recently, so much so Kotb told Bush Hager she was “not allowed” to take anymore days off after they suffered a major host mix-up behind the scenes. At the time, singer Kelly Rowland was expected to fill in for Bush Hager, but she allegedly walked off the set, forcing singer Rita Ora to guest host instead.

“That’s the last day off in months,” Kotb told Bush Hager upon her return.

For now, it remains unclear when Kotb should be expected back on the air, but we sure hope it’s soon!
