‘Golden Bachelor’ Gerry Turner And Theresa Nist Reportedly Still Not Living Together Nearly Three Months After ‘The Golden Wedding’

You know what they say: distance makes the heart grow fonder. According to a new report from TMZ, The Golden Bachelor‘s Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist are not living together, with the former residing in his lake house in Indiana, while the latter is living in New Jersey.

However, fans shouldn’t fret, as sources informed TMZ as to why they have not updated their living situation, one of which is purely the “time-consuming” nature of moving from their homes.

The two are still sorting out where they would like to live, although TMZ heard that they are considering Charleston, South Carolina as “a good middle ground” between their two homes; it is also near where Nist’s son and grandchildren live.

Additionally, Nist has not sorted out what she plans to do in terms of work, as she is still employed in New Jersey as a compliance officer, per the report. The report also highlights that both Turner and Nist are “super close” with their families. Sources revealed that “moving away from either would be difficult for them.”

While fans witnessed Turner and Nist getting engaged during The Golden Bachelor series finale last November, they eventually got hitched on Jan. 4 during the televised Golden Wedding, which was officiated by none other than fan-favorite contestant Susan Noles.

Despite the potential hesitancy to move in together right away — and a previous report from OK! Magazine ahead of their big day alleging that the two were “bickering all the time” — TMZ’s sources noted that Turner and Nist are “still madly in love and want to make the marriage work.”

The two “make it a priority to make visits,” as seen in Turner’s March 17 Instagram post, which featured Nist at his granddaughter’s volleyball game in Indiana.

The golden couple were spotted attending last Monday’s (March 25) Bachelor finale and After the Final Rose special, where Bachelor Nation first learned of Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson‘s engagement.

Other Golden Bachelor alums present included runner-up Leslie Fhima, Sandra Mason, Kathy Swarts, and Noles, the latter two of whom recently launched a podcast together titled Golden Hour.
