Jenna Bush Hager Yells At Hoda Kotb On ‘Today’ For Not Knowing Her Birthday: “We Have Been Together For Five Years!”

This has been a week of festivities at Today With Hoda & Jenna as the co-hosts mark their five year anniversary. But Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb were in for a shock during Wednesday’s broadcast when they realized neither of them know each other’s birthdays.

During a segment called “Girl Code,” the Today co-hosts received a viewer’s question about how to make amends after forgetting a friend’s birthday. “I do it at least twice a month!” Bush Hager said. After they offered the viewer some advice, she later turned to Kotb and asked, “When’s my birthday?”

“I don’t know,” Kotb confessed.

“I know yours,” Bush Hager replied. “August 7.”

That turned out to be incorrect. “No, it’s not,” Kotb replied with a laugh. “And I still love you!”

But Kotb later confessed that she didn’t even know the month of Bush Hager’s birthday. Though she guessed it was in September, Bush Hager’s birthday is actually in November.

“You don’t know the month of my birthday and we’ve been together for five years!” Bush Hager exclaimed. “We have been together for five years!”

It does come as a shock that the Today co-hosts don’t know each other’s birthdays, considering how close they’ve become in the five years they’ve worked together.

Sometimes it seems like the colleagues have no boundaries at all. Kotb didn’t bat an eye when she recently fished food out from Bush Hager’s teeth during the live broadcast.

After joking that “it must have been from yesterday,” Kotb ripped up one of her note cards to get it out. “I’ll get it! Just give it to me,” she told Bush Hager as she did it.

“Oh gosh, what a friend,” Bush Hager joked as Kotb pulled the piece of food out.

Talk about a match made in heaven!
