American Horror Story: Delicate returned last week for the second part of its twisty season. The twelfth installment in Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s beloved horror series follows rising star Anna Victoria Alcott (Emma Roberts) through her tricky pregnancy.

Episode 6, “Opening Night,” saw the mysterious death of the director of Anna’s latest movie, perhaps at the hands of her publicist Siobhan — played by MVP Kim Kardashian.

The episode also connected Anna’s present-day beach house manager to her parents, by showing the character interacting with her and her father after the death of her mother from a pulmonary embolism during a flashback.

All said, the season is finally turning up the heat after a lackluster start.
