‘The View’s Ana Navarro Claims ‘Golden Bachelor’ Gerry Turner And Theresa Nist’s Marriage Was “Manufactured”: “Complete Crock!”

Ana Navarro was vindicated today on The View. The co-host — who hasn’t been shy about her distaste for all things Bachelor Nation — rejoiced upon hearing that The Golden Bachelor‘s Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist are divorcing three months after their televised wedding special.

On this morning’s View, the co-hosts watched a short clip of Turner and Nist’s appearance on Good Morning America, during which they revealed the news of their split. After Nist urged the cynics not to “give up” and to “stay in it, stay hopeful,” the panel couldn’t help but laugh.

But before anyone got a chance to start the Hot Topics chat, Navarro jumped right in. While Joy Behar tried to pose a question for the ladies, Navarro raised her hands, exclaiming, “I’m taking the first bat at this, because for like six months you tortured me every Friday and made me talk about this topic.”

As she spoke, Behar tried to get a word in, saying, “Hold on, I’m not finished!” but Navarro was unstoppable in her contempt for the (now former) Golden Couple.

Reminding us all that she “can’t stand” The Golden Bachelor because she thinks it’s “manufactured and a complete crock,” Navarro then did a little joyous dance in her seat.

“Today I get to say, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so!” she said, before breaking into laughter.

Turner and Nist announced their shock split this morning, which followed reports that they had been living separately after their January wedding. The former couple told GMA that they were going their separate ways after closely looking into their “situation,” but did not provide much additional insight into their split.

“We have received so much love and support from so many people who watched The Golden Bachelor, and I don’t think we can tell you how many people told us that it gave them so much hope,” Nist said on GMA. “We want none of that to change for anybody.”

Turner added, “Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations, and we’ve looked closely at our situation, our living situation, so forth and we’ve kind of come to the conclusion mutually that it’s probably time for us to dissolve our marriage.”

This is all a bit awkward considering the couple just filmed a Celebrity Family Feud episode. Will it still air? Decider’s Nicole Gallucci has got the scoop.
