Watch out Jenna Lyons, a new fashion legend will be joining Real Housewives of New York City: Rebecca Minkoff.

The famed luxury designer has reportedly been filming with the RHONY cast for Season 15, according to Deadline. The outlet notes that she will be joining in an unspecified role, so it’s unclear if she will be on the show full-time or if she will just be making a guest appearance.

Minkoff built her name as a luxury accessories designer specializing in handbags, jewelry, and more. She first established her brand in 2005 with the help of her brother Uri Minkoff.

On Real Housewives, she will be joining Lyons, a former fashion exec who has been credited with single-handedly turning around J.Crew during her tenure.

The rest of the RHONY reboot cast will also be returning for Season 15, including Brynn Whitfield, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jessel Taank, and Sai De Silva.

A premiere date for RHONY Season 15 has not been confirmed, though Deadline’s report noted that it may return later this year.

But Season 15 may look a bit different, at least from Lyons’ perspective.

Lyons was openly apprehensive about returning for another season, even telling RHONY executive producer Andy Cohen that the “whole show” was “hard.”

“It’s shocking how, when the camera’s actually on you … I thought I could handle it and, you know, I couldn’t,” she told him, per People.

But she told The New York Times that she set certain conditions for her return, including that she will not be filming with her girlfriend “to keep her out of the press.” She also noted that Bravo agreed to film less around her home and her family.

“There was a lot of filming in the home, and it was just exhausting. It’s so disruptive,” she said. “They were very open to reducing that exposure and not having so much ‘home time.’ My son is prepping for college. It’s a very intense time.”

Real Housewives of New York Season 14 is now streaming on Peacock.
