‘The View’: Nicole Brown Simpson Warned Her Sisters That O.J. Simpson Was Going To “Kill” Her And “Get Away With It”
Over two weeks after O.J. Simpson died on April 10 at age 76, his official cause of death has been publicly disclosed. Simpson’s attorney and estate executor Malcolm LaVergne informed TMZ on Friday (April 26) that Simpson had passed away from prostate cancer.
Local 10 news had reported in February that Simpson was “undergoing chemotherapy” in Las Vegas following a prostate cancer diagnosis.
On April 11, a day after his death, his family had posted a statement to his X account about his passing, confirming that he had “succumbed to his battle with cancer.”
“He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren,” the statement shared. “During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace.”
The former college football and NFL player — who also forayed into acting — would come to have his career shrouded in infamy in 1994, when he was accused of murdering both his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ron Goldman.

As noted by TMZ, the last time O.J. had taken to social media was on Feb. 11, when he shared a video on X in support of the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. The outlet reports that he had been in hospice for “several months,” but was let out and sent home “days before his death.”
