The drama is at an all-time high between Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard co-stars (and former friends with benefits) Alex Tyree and Summer Marie Thomas.

It all started when Thomas appeared on the April 14 episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she was asked to rate her hookup with Tyree in a game of “Can Alex Take the Summer Heat?”

“I would say a five,” she said. “I think an eight would be playing it safe — or, like, a seven. I think a five kind of shows you it wasn’t meant for us. It wasn’t meant for us, is what it shows.”

Two weeks after Thomas blasted Tyree’s lovemaking on national television, he got his revenge. On Sunday night’s (April 28) episode of Watch What Happens Live, the reality star explained why it was “rich” of Thomas to give their hookup such a mediocre rating while playing a game of “Can Alex Take the Summer Heat? Round 2!”

“I’m not gonna rate [our hookup], but I do think it’s really rich that she came up here and said that and days before she was leaving me voicemails like a crazy ex-girlfriend,” he told Andy Cohen.

Tyree also admitted he never felt love for Thomas, noting that they were “strictly friends with benefits.” Despite Thomas claiming that only “one” of them orgasmed during their hookups, Tyree insisted, “I’m an amazing lover. But, you know, you gotta earn that love.”

Thomas shocked her castmates when she revealed at the first group dinner of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard Season 2 that she and her co-star had a fling. While chatting with DECIDER ahead of the season premiere, star Nick Arrington recalled the awkward moment.

“My initial thought was ‘Really, we doing this now?'” he said. “At that point, we hadn’t even been here 12 hours. We’d been here six hours. I was like, ‘This is the road we want to go down this summer? Okay, let’s get into it.’ I’m just like, ‘We’re friends, we’re family. If we’re going to talk about it, we might as well talk about it together.'”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
