Benny Blanco Gushes Over Girlfriend Selena Gomez On ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’: “The Best, Most Genuine Person”

Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez‘s romance comes naturally. The record producer stopped by this morning’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, where he gushed over his girlfriend to host Drew Barrymore.

Blanco — who was promoting his new cookbook Open Wide — revealed he was a big fan of Charlie’s Angels, providing Barrymore the perfect segue into a conversation about his relationship with Gomez.

“I think of your girlfriend Selena Gomez as the ultimate Charlie’s Angel,” the actress said. “She is like the pillar of empowerment and cool and sexy and capable and talented and she keeps it real about what it’s like to be a human being on this planet.”

Blanco then described the Only Murders in the Building star as the “best, most genuine person.”

“Everything is so completely real,” he said. “Every day when I wake up, I’ll walk by the mirror as I’m walking to her and I look at myself and I’m like, ‘How did I get here?'”

Blanco continued, “She’s one of the sweetest, one of the most charming, one of the most humble people I’ve ever met. Her day — she wakes up thinking about, ‘How can I make all my friends and loved ones around me feel better?’ I’m like, ‘She is so good!'”

Gomez first confirmed her relationship with Blanco in a series of adorable photos posted to her Instagram page in December 2023. The singer later praised her boyfriend in a separate birthday post.

“Happy birthday baby!” she captioned the March 2024 post. “Your emotional endurance, positive disposition, unbelievable talent (that blows me away), undeniable humor and loving, kind heart absolutely kill me. I love you.”

The Wizards of Waverly Place alum further opened up about her relationship while chatting with Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1.

“Without getting into too much detail, I think it’s just really important to meet someone that respects you,” she said, per Billboard. “And I think it’s really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in.”

Gomez added, “I’d have to say overall, it’s the safest that I feel and it’s been really lovely. I’ve only grown through it, so it’s awesome.”
