Bravo’s hit Vanderpump Rules spinoff The Valley has been packed with drama from the moment it debuted on the network. In recent episodes, a spotlight has been cast on Michelle Lally and Jesse Lally‘s deteriorating marriage, with Kristen Doute and Jax Taylor fanning the flames of infidelity rumors on Michelle’s part. The conversation continues in an exclusive clip from tonight’s new episode in which Taylor confronts Michelle about the salacious gossip.
The cast (sans Doute, Luke Broderick and Zack Wickham) head out to Big Bear in tonight’s episode for Janet Caperna and Jason Caperna‘s babymoon — and even though Doute is banned from the invite list, she manages to cause a stir.
“Let’s go out there and have a little chat,” Taylor tells Michelle in the clip, shared exclusively with DECIDER.
He adds, “I don’t think it’s right. I’ll put $20 in the damn jar. This is the last time I’m gonna talk about Kristen. But she’s told something to me that you need to know that she’s passing around. Grab a drink!”
Taylor helps Michelle mix a beverage, prompting a cheeky callback to his bartending days at SUR. “They didn’t hire me for my skills. They hired me for this,” he says as he points to his face, joking, “And now this is starting to go.”
The duo then steps out onto the deck, where Taylor proceeds to inform Michelle of the chatter going on amongst their friend group — all of which he claims stemmed from Doute.
“Three or four months ago, there was a girls night at my house,” Taylor begins. “You guys all had fun, whatever, whatever. I came home towards the end of the night and Kristen was hammered. And then she started talking about you.”
He continues, “I know the kind of person Kristen is. When she gets to the bottom of the barrel, she will do whatever she can to ruin peoples’ lives. And I want you to get ahead of it.”
Taylor explains to Michelle that Doute claimed she was “texting guys — a particular person on the side” amid her marriage with Jesse.
However, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard this as Taylor previously repeated the rumor to Jasmine Goode, who’s been tight-lipped ever since. Doute also alleged that Michelle had a secret boyfriend for a year after a heated disagreement with the Lallys. This is simply the first time the specifics of what was being said have gotten back to Michelle.
We’ll just have to wait to see her reaction when the new episode airs later tonight at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock. Check out the full clip above.
