Eagled-eyed ‘Sex and the City’ Fans Spot ‘And Just Like That’ Filming Aidan Outside Carrie’s Apartment

Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted frolicking around New York City in Carrie Bradshaw’s signature eccentric wardrobe, which means one thing: And Just Like That has officially begun filming Season 3.

Though we still don’t know much about And Just Like That Season 3 yet, a fan caught a glimpse of one major moment being filmed in Manhattan. The video shows John Corbett, who famously reprised his role as Carrie’s ex-fiancé Aidan Shaw, yelling up at Carrie’s apartment from the street. It’s unclear what words are being exchanged in the scene until Corbett suddenly yells, “Motherf*****!” He is then seen grabbing his bag and storming up the stairs, as if to enter Carrie’s apartment.

Fans of the series may remember that Season 2 ended with Aidan and Carrie agreeing to pause their relationship so that he could prioritize raising his teenage sons. Aidan audaciously asked that she wait five years for them to reunite so that he could focus on being a single dad until his kids become adults, to which Carrie shockingly agreed. To make matters worse, all of this came after Carrie already sold her iconic New York City apartment so they could move in together.

Seeing Aidan in Manhattan comes as a surprise, considering the single dad vowed that he wouldn’t be returning to the city any time soon. So, what could he possibly be doing in Manhattan?!

The video drew divided reactions from fans on social media.

“Oh FFS!!!!! I thought he dumped her ass!” one fan wrote.

Another fan appeared to have thought the same. “Please tell me this is five whole years later when tater tot is done with college or whatever,” they shared.

“I still love this show. I will watch the senior living version of SATC lol,” one hopeful viewer wrote.

But some SATC fans still believe that Aidan is better off alone. “I want a show of Aidan living his best life without Carrie,” one viewer commented.

And Just Like That‘s Season 3 release date has not yet been announced, but we do know quite a bit about who will be returning for the new episodes.

Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Sara Ramírez and Sarah Pittman will not be returning for Season 3. Rosie O’Donnell, however, was cast in a new role.

For now, it appears that the And Just Like That new season will premiere some time in 2025.

And Just Like That and Sex and the City are both streaming on Max.
