Dearest gentle readers, the wait for more Bridgerton is almost over! And Netflix has unveiled a brand new Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 trailer to satisfy our cravings for more Penelope (Nicola Coughlan), more Colin (Luke Newton), more Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), more Kate (Simone Ashley), and more Lady Whistledown-related drama.

The two-minute-long Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 trailer reveals that, yes, Colin and Penelope are engaged! And the news of their sudden match is captivating the ton. However, there’s one person who is not happy at all that Penelope and Colin are madly in love and that would be Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie). Throughout the trailer, Eloise threatens to reveal Penelope’s secret — that she is Lady Whistledown — to the unsuspecting Colin.

Of course, that’s the dark, dramatic part of the trailer. Bridgerton fans are probably more likely to seize upon a number of incredible moments that have been buzzed about for years.

We’ve known for a while that Bridgerton Season 3 would be giving us a “mirror scene.” That is, a sex scene between Penelope and Colin in front of a mirror. The scene actually doesn’t happen in the books, but Colin mentions he would like to make love to Penelope in front of a mirror…and Bridgerton the show decided to make it happen!

After that steamy tease, there’s a cute moment between the three eldest Bridgerton boys wherein Colin admits that his engagement did happen rather “swiftly.” When Anthony catches his meaning, Benedict (Luke Thompson) jokingly asks if that means he’s going to duel his own brother in a callback to a key Bridgerton Season 1 storyline.

Other tidbits that eagle-eyed Bridgerton fans might seize upon are Penelope’s engagement ring, shots of multiple couples canoodling, and Penelope defiantly telling Colin she can take care of herself. “Then what good am I!?” Colin desperately cries out.

What is the context of that scene? How steamy will the mirror scene get? Will Colin and Penelope make it to the altar? Bridgerton fans will have to wait until next week to find out!

Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 premieres on Netflix on Thursday, June 13.
