‘Kingdom’ Actor Jonathan Tucker Rescued A Neighbor And Her Two Children After A Man Broke Into Their Home

Actor Jonathan Tucker, who is best known for his role on the DirecTV series Kingdom, is being recognized for helping a neighbor and her two small children safely flee after their home was broken into this past weekend.

According to a Los Angeles Magazine report, Tucker spotted a suspicious man wandering around his L.A. neighborhood on Sunday evening (June 2). Police confirmed that the actor called 911 after he spotted the man banging on doors on his Hancock Park street.

Before officials could arrive, Tucker noticed that his neighbor’s front door was wide open and the man was inside.

Tucker approached the home to find a young girl inside; he then escorted her outside so that his wife could look after her, and he went back in to find the child’s mother and an infant, and helped them safely flee the home as well.

After the LAPD arrived, they located the suspect in the house, and he was reportedly placed in a 5150 hold for psychiatric evaluation.

When Tucker was asked for comment on the matter, he said, “If you want a quote, call the LAPD because those guys are the real heroes,” per Los Angeles.

He added, “They put their lives on the line every day multiple times a day. They responded within minutes, while I was still on the phone with a 911 dispatcher. It was an extraordinary response.”
