Hallmark Legends Lacey Chabert, Brennan Elliott Reunite For ‘His & Hers,’ Their Tenth Movie Together

Hallmark favorites Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott are reuniting for a new romcom, marking their 10th time working together for the network.

The co-stars will lead a new playful romcom that is tentatively called His & Hers.

Chabert celebrated the news in a statement. “A chance to reunite with my dear friend, Brennan Elliott and bringing these stories to the audience together is always such a joyful experience. I hope the fans enjoy these new characters!” she said, per Deadline.

Elliott also praised his prolific co-star with a statement of his own. “I have been so blessed and lucky to have been able to star in 10 films with Lacey Chabert! She is a great friend, and collaborating with her on screen has been one of the most treasured and impactful joys of my career,” he said.

Per Deadline, Chabert and Elliott star as a married couple who work as attorneys at rival firms. When they represent two reality stars heading for divorce, the tensions begin infiltrating their happy home.

Hallmark media director of programming Ayse Francis described the film as a “witty and playful romcom” that will “showcase their undeniable chemistry.” She promised it’ll be “a treat for our Hallmark viewers.”

This marks the first time in three years Chabert and Elliott have worked together since starring in Riddle Me Dead, the fifth installment of the Crossword Mysteries franchise in which they solve a series of murders and disappearances. Prior to that, the stars led the romantic franchise All of My Heart.

For Chabert, His & Hers marks her third project for Hallmark this year, with even more on the way.

Susan Black and Joie Botkin wrote the screenplay. Linda-Lisa Hayter will direct, with Kristofer McNeeley executive producing.

A release date for His & Hers has not been announced yet, but it is set to premiere later this year as part of Hallmark’s annual Fall into Love programming event.
