Denise Richards Returns To Reality TV After Her Messy Run On ‘RHOBH’ With New E! Series About Her Family

Denise Richards and her family are making their triumphant return to reality TV. Their lives will be spotlighted once again in Denise Richards and the Wild Things, a half-hour reality series heading to E! in 2025.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, who shares daughters Sami and Lola with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen, had given the public a look at their divorce in her previous E! reality series Denise Richards: It’s Complicated. The show aired for two seasons between 2008 and 2009.

Richards, who will not only star in the half-hour comedic docuseries, but also executive produce, said in a statement that she and her family “are thrilled to return home to E!,” per a press release shared with DECIDER.

“Sami and Lola were just 3 and 4 years old when we first shared our story and now we’ve come full circle,” she continued. “[Executive producer] Alex Baskin and I met when I joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and I loved doing that show. This is the perfect partnership for our family’s series as our lives are full of fun, love and unpredictability, and we can’t wait for the audience to share this adventure with us.”

Richards is also the mother to daughter Eloise, whom she adopted in 2011, per People. She married her current husband, Aaron Phypers, in 2018.

While Richards starred on Seasons 9 and 10 of RHOBH, she made a buzzy appearance in Season 13. She also starred alongside former Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes in Lifetime’s thriller Hunting Housewives, which debuted in March.

With respect to her new series, “life is more complicated and unpredictable,” as Richards and her family will “test each other’s boundaries and show us what their famous, loving and controversial life is like,” per the network’s press release.

Rachel Smith, EVP, Unscripted Content, Lifestyle and Documentary, NBCUniversal Entertainment, praised Richards as “a pop culture force and no stranger to capturing the public’s attention.”

“With her return to E!, we look forward to Denise and her family sharing their beautifully chaotic world with our audience, who will appreciate their candor and relatability as much as we do,” she said.
