Avid Jimmy Kimmel fans may have recognized that last night’s episode of Live featuring Larry David and Cyndi Lauper was a re-run from earlier this month. If you’re wondering when the show will be back with new episodes — and which celeb will be featured next — you’ve come to the right place.

Last week, Martin Short kicked off the late-night show’s star-studded summer of guest hosts. Short filled in for the entire week, in which he put his own spin on Kimmel’s nightly opening monologues, and even revived his hilariously problematic persona, Jiminy Glick, to interview Melissa McCarthy, Bill Hader, and Nick Kroll.

It was an eventful week on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Short’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars Selena Gomez and Steve Martin even paid him a visit.

After Short’s successful run, some fans may be wondering when the show will be back with new episodes, and who will be on the show next.

The good news is that Short is just the first of many celebrities who are set to guest host Jimmy Kimmel Live this summer as Kimmel enjoys some much-needed R&R. Here’s what we know so far about what’s next on Live.

When does Jimmy Kimmel Live return with new episodes?

As of now, it appears that Jimmy Kimmel Live will be airing re-runs for the rest of the week.

Per a release from ABC, this week’s episodes will include some of the stars from The Bear, plus The Bikeriders star Austin Butler and U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris.

Though a schedule for the rest of the summer has not been shared, Jimmy Kimmel Live will surely return soon with new episodes, and possibly, a new guest host.

Short set the bar high with his outrageous run on Jimmy Kimmel Live. After joking that he was “contractually obligated” to make fun of Trump on the show as Kimmel often does, Short performed a “musical salute” to the former president during Friday’s (June 28) episode.

But he is just the first of many celebrities who are set to fill Kimmel’s seat this summer.

ABC announced that Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Kathryn Hahn, Jeff Goldblum, RuPaul, Lamorne Morris, and Anthony Anderson are all set to guest host Jimmy Kimmel Live this summer. The set dates will be announced at a later time.

During his last appearance on the show in June, Kimmel shared that he would be “gone until Labor Day” (Sept. 2) to enjoy some “time off.”

“Don’t worry, I have a special bat phone they can call in case Trump goes to jail. I’ll be right back here,” he joked during his last broadcast. “You’ll be in good hands. We have a great group of guest hosts filling in, each of whom have sworn to protect the integrity of the show and make sure that the lock on Matt Damon’s dressing room remains bolted from the outside.”

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c.
