President Joe Biden is continuing his redemption tour by giving his first exclusive interview since his much-discussed debate performance to ABC News, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The politician, 81, will sit down with Good Morning America co-host and This Week host George Stephanopoulos in an attempt to reassure the American people about his health after his poor debate showing against Donald Trump had many (including some of The View co-hosts) calling for him to step down.
“Folks, I might not walk as easily or talk as smoothly as I used to. I might not debate as well as I used to. But what I do know is how to tell the truth,” Biden wrote on X following the debate, while former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claimed the POTUS was simply having a “bad night.”

Biden’s interview with ABC News will have a staggered roll-out amongst various ABC programming. A first look at his interview with air on Friday, July 5 on World News Tonight with David Muir. Other portions of the sit-down will air on Good Morning America on Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7.
An extended cut of the interview will air on This Week with George Stephanopoulos on Sunday, July 7 and on Good Morning America on Monday, July 8.

World News Tonight might air every night — but you can catch a first look at Biden’s interview with Stephanopoulos during the Friday, July 5 taping when it airs at 6:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
What time does Good Morning America air?
Good Morning America airs every morning at 7/6c on ABC. Segments from Biden’s interview with Stephanopoulos will air on Good Morning America on Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7, with an extended version of the interview broadcasting on Monday, July 8.
