Keke Jabbar, best known for starring in the OWN reality series Love & Marriage: Huntsville, has died. She was 42.

Vlogger Marcella Speaks announced the news by reading off a statement from Jabbar’s family in a YouTube livestream on Tuesday night (July 2). No cause of death has been confirmed at this time.

“It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Keke,” Speaks said. “She passed away peacefully at home surrounded in love.”

Speaks continued, “She was a mom, a sister, a great friend, full of life, love and laughter. She will sorely be missed. At this time, we are asking for respect and privacy in our moment of grief while we process this great loss.”

LaTisha Moore Scott, another cast member on Love & Marriage: Huntsville and Jabbar’s cousin, also shared a statement asking for privacy as the family mourns their loss.

“At this time we are asking for RESPECT, and PRIVACY in our moment of grief, while we process this great loss!” she wrote on Instagram. “This is hard for our Family!!!!!”

Love & Marriage: Huntsville follows three high-powered Black couples who invest in real estate in Huntsville, Alabama. Despite being cousins, Jabbar and Scott famously feuded throughout the series, with Jabbar even throwing a drink in Scott’s face in one episode.

Jabbar was also forced to shut down accusations that she was using hard drugs at the Love & Marriage: Huntsville Reunion earlier this year.

“I’ve never taken any kind of hard drug. I’ve never taken anything, heroin, cocaine, crack … I’ve never taken anything like that,” she said, before promising that she was sober while filming the show, per Deadline.

In light of the heartbreaking news, fans of the show have flooded the comments section of Jabbar’s most recent Instagram post with tributes.

“My heart is broken cuz. You will be missed and we are praying healing for the rest of the family!” one wrote, while another added, “Rest in peace beautiful ❤️.”

Someone else said, “Fly high KeKe🕊️ just 5 weeks ago I told you how great you looked and now on the same post I bid you farewell beautiful Sister.”

Jabbar is survived by her three children, her husband, her parents and her cousins.
