‘Summer House’ Star Lindsay Hubbard Sets Off Fireworks Of Her Own With Shock Pregnancy SponCon Announcement

Summer House is getting an extra cast member this year. Series star Lindsay Hubbard announced on Thursday (July 4) that she is expecting her first baby, just in time for Season 9 to begin production.

“Trigger Warning: This post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!! 💥💥💥 I truly believe the universe has a bigger plan and this is it!” Hubbard captioned her Instagram post, which was made in partnership with Clearblue.

The reality star added that she and her unnamed boyfriend are “beyond excited to welcome our little #HubbCub this Holiday season 2024!!”

Hubbard also shared a series of photos of her growing baby bump. While she hasn’t named her boyfriend just yet, she revealed during the Summer House Season 8 reunion that they went on a “few dates three and a half years ago” before rekindling their romance in January of this year.

“I would say it’s tracking in the pretty serious direction,” she said at the reunion. “He’s been a great support.”

The news of Hubbard’s pregnancy comes less than a year after her ex-fiancé Carl Radke called off their wedding. The two got engaged in August 2022 before calling it quits in August 2023 after a tumultuous summer. Their breakup was filmed by Bravo cameras and ultimately aired in the Summer House Season 8 finale.

Despite ending things on a sour note, both Hubbard and Radke are set to return for Summer House Season 9, which will reportedly begin filming this weekend.

Meanwhile, Hubbard’s fellow Bravolebrities flooded the comments section of her announcement to congratulate her on becoming a mom.

“My manifestation even scared me….congratulations 💙💗,” Summer House star Paige DeSorbo commented, while Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney added, “Love you! So happy for you!”

Below Deck alum Kate Chastain said, “Congratulations!! Imagine making someone sandwiches all the time and they never make one for you…..but with this little person it’s totally okay,” jokingly referencing the time an activated Hubbard infamously freaked out on an ex-boyfriend who didn’t make her as many sandwiches as she made him.

Ariana Madix wrote, “Lindsay!!!!! omg congratulations,” while Southern Charm‘s Olivia Flowers added, “Congratulations hot momma.”

Hubbard gushed over the exciting news in an Instagram post this morning, telling her followers that she feels “so blessed and grateful for this journey.”

“I’m relieved and excited to finally be able to celebrate openly, and with the world,” she continued. “It has been extremely difficult to hide my excitement in secrecy, and now that I’m able to share my happiness and joy, I feel like a weight has been lifted (even though I’m actually gaining weight by the day lol)!”

Hubbard concluded, “Our little cub is already so so loved! 🥹 Thank you for all of the sweet comments, love, and support! We are truly over the moon right now!”

Hubbard was previously pregnant with her Winter House co-star Jason Cameron’s baby, though she revealed in the Summer House Season 6 premiere — which aired in January 2022 — that she suffered a miscarriage less than 24 hours after learning she was pregnant.

“It’s something I’ve always wanted my entire life, to have a family,” she said at the time.
