As the 2024 election inches closer by the day, The View is continuing to ramp up its coverage of President Joe Biden and Donald Trump‘s rematch. This morning, the show compared two speeches from the men after Biden addressed NATO and Trump addressed a crowd at his private golf club last night.

As expected, the two talks couldn’t have been more different — while Biden discussed the need for “collective strength” during this “moment in history,” Trump coined the nickname “Laffin’ Kamala” for Vice President Kamala Harris and claimed that people are getting “shot, mugged [and] raped”outside of the Washington Monument.

After hearing Trump’s words, Whoopi Goldberg wondered how he keeps “getting a pass” for his “insane rants,” while Joy Behar immediately said, “He’s so stupid.”

She then told the panel, “Their side doesn’t care if [Trump] has no cognitive abilities, apparently. All they want to do is retain power and keep him in office.”

She then admitted, “What really ticks me off about him, though, is this laughing Kamala remark. It’s such a sexist remark. A guy I was with over the weekend, a friend of mine, said, ‘Kamala’s laugh annoys me.’ Remember they said that about Hillary [Clinton]‘s laugh, when she was cackling?”

Behar theorized, “And men, you know, they don’t like a funny woman. They’re afraid if you laugh or you make a joke, that maybe they’ll do that when they’re in bed with you.”

As she suggested, “It’s like this fear of women’s laughing and comedy,” Sunny Hostin told her, “That’s very good psychotherapy,” which only encouraged Behar more.

“What was that reference to the Washington Monument? Looks very much like a penis to me. Just saying!” she quipped, before taking a more serious analysis and agreeing with Hostin that Trump is scared of Harris.

“You smell fear when he comes up with a nickname for somebody,” Behar said.

The View airs weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
