    Such a clever design for a table lamp. I have a very contemporary interior design theme and needed a small table lamp for auxiliary lighting. This lamp can be on while watching tv and not interfere. The dimming works very well. We mostly use it on the lowest setting. We get a lot of comments on it.

    I recently bought 2 of these. Here's the scoop. The Mr. N is super easy to turn on and off. A very light touch at the base does the trick. Secondly, these little lamps just look cool! And they are small...only 7.5 inches high. This lamp is not a bright light...more like a big night light, or accent lighting. I have one in my 20 x 13 bedroom. At night, with Mr. N being the only light on, I could see throughout the room, much like some candles were lit. I could read something, but I likely wouldn't want to read a book for a long period with it as the sole lighting source. Bottom line is I love these and they are a great addition that I don't think I'll tire of.

    The light would turn itself on and off. Also it would get stuck cycling through the dimmer. All while I was not even touching the control. Two lamps tried and returned. Do not buy!

    The lamp has a striking appearance, and it's nice to be able to dim it. However, the touch controls are really hard to activate. You can only touch the small metal band at the outer base of the lamp. It's in an awkward position, and it's tough to do at the required pressure without the lamp sliding away from you.

    Whenever somebody stays in my guest bedroom, I find both of these lamps unplugged afterwards. I'd recommend you wait until they improve this product a little bit, and buy the next generation.
