As part of a new deal with BBC Worldwide North America, Hulu has landed exclusive U.S. streaming video-on-demand rights to BBC’s The Musketeers. All episodes of the first three seasons of The Musketeers will be available to stream in the U.S. beginning this Saturday, May 14, only on Hulu. Through the deal, Hulu also becomes the only U.S. destination streaming the third season of the series.
A contemporary take on the classic Alexandre Dumas characters, The Musketeers, created by Adrian Hodges (My Week With Marilyn), is set on the streets of 17th century Paris, where law and order is an idea more than a reality. In addition to being King Louis XIII’s personal bodyguards, Athos, Aramis and Porthos stand resolutely for social justice, honor, valor, love — and for the thrill of it. Luke Pasqualino stars as D’Artagnan alongside Tom Burke as Athos, Santiago Cabrera as Aramis and Howard Charles as Porthos. Peter Capaldi, Maimie McCoy, Tamla Kari, and Hugo Speer also star. Rupert Everett and Matthew McNulty join the cast for the third season.
The Musketeers is made by BBC Drama Production Salford for BBC One and co-produced by BBC Worldwide.
