For MultiSite websites, how many sites do I need to purchase?

We consider a 'site' for licensing purposes as an installation of WordPress with Events Manager Pro. So, for example, if you're using MultiSite it's considered a single license as it's a single installation, regardless how many sites you have on it, whether you use subdomain, directory blogs or even domain mapping.

As another example, were you to use WordPress on yoursite.com and then also install another separate WordPress site in yoursite.com/wp, then that'd count as two sites even though it's the same domain.

I have a development site, do I need to purchase an extra license for it?

Generally speaking, no! We allow for 2 staging/development sites to be registered alongside each production site you have purchased. So, if you have a 3-site license, you could register up to 6 extra sites for staging/development purposes.

When registering a dev/staging site, we request that you make it clear that these sites are not used in production, such as by using an obvious URL (such as testing.yorsite.com), adding a maintenance mode for regular visitors, or any other reasonable/logical approach.

Is Pro required to work with the WooCommerce Add-On?

No, our WooCommerce add-on (sold separately) can be used with Events Manager, Pro is not required. However, Pro can also be optionally installed to enable extra features such as custom booking forms, PDF tickets, etc.

Will I lose my previous events and settings when upgrading from Free to Pro?

Nope! Pro is an add-on for Events Manager, meaning you'll always keep the free version installed, and Pro adds a set of powerful features on top of what is already available. Because of this, no settings or event information is modified when you upgrade, you only need to set up your new features!

Is this plugin open source, can I modify it?

Most certainly! We do not encrypt or compile any part of the plugin so that you or your developer can dig in and modify it to your heart's content. We also provide hooks throughout the plugin, so modifications can be made without touching the core code (just like we do in Pro).

What happens if I find a bug, or it doesn't work on my WordPress site?

If you find a bug in our plugin, we'll fix it right away. In all cases, we'll help you troubleshoot and find the root of the problem, and in most cases we can provide guidance on how to fix it. We strongly suggest you try out the free plugin first because if that works on your site Pro certainly will.

Will Pro stop working when my license expires?

No, never! After a year you will not have access to further updates and pro support, however your plugin will continue to work as normal and you'll still have access to updates to Events Manager and our community forums.

Can I use this plugin on my client's website?

Yes, you can use your license for any website. Access to support however is provided only to you, the license holder.

What is an expired license, can I still use it?

An expired license means that your license no longer grants you access to new updates and Premium support. However, you can still use the plugin you currently have installed on your sites, and you can also register and deregister sites as needed as per your originally purchased license site allowance.

How much does it cost to renew my license?

The price will remain the same each year according to the current price you paid for the license, and provided you renew before your license expires. We are regularly adding new features and strive to provide comprehensive support levels so we're confident you'll continue seeing the value in renewing yearly.

Can I renew my license after it expires?

You can renew whenever you're ready to! There's no difference between renewing before or after your license has expired, once you renew you'll have immediate access to the latest updates and support.

I've bought Events Manager Pro, where do I get it?

Once payment has been made, you'll get immediate access to our support area, which contains links to download the latest versions of Events Manager Pro. Please note that e-checks can take 5-10 days to clear.

Do you offer refunds?

No. Due to the nature of this product, we cannot provide refunds. We strongly suggest you try the free plugin first (which you need to install anyway), have a look at our demo, take Pro for a spin, or ask before buying if you have any doubts.
