Marvel's The Punisher: Everybody wants Frank dead in bloody official trailer

...not if he gets to them first, of course

Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) has a new mission.

And thanks to the official trailer (above), we finally have some new clues to Marvel’s The Punisher, the Daredevil spin-off series about the antihero who prefers killing over negotiating. We see Frank suit up in the iconic skull-painted body armor to take out mercenaries, but more intriguingly, he offers a little more on why he’s stuck around New York: “They killed my family to get to me,” he says. “I was a part of a covert CIA operation. The main charge wants me dead. Homeland, the FBI, everybody’s a part of this.”

But who’s everybody? The trailer offers a glimpse of Billy (Ben Barnes) walking away from a building he may have just destroyed, while Micro (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) offers to ally with Frank for his own reasons, and Homeland agents Dinah Madani (Amber Rose Revah) and Sam Stein (Michael Nathanson) believe Frank to be dead. There are also flashes of Frank in his army uniform, a car chase sequence, and a shootout in what looks like Micro’s lair. “I’m going to kill them all,” Frank tells Micro. Looks like he’s keeping his promise.

Even with all that, Marvel has again redacted the release date. The Punisher will arrive before the end of the year.
