Well it turns out they hadn't been taken hostage by the Riddler. Netflix was just biding its time until Sunday night, when they announced a new run of stand-ups, including Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle and Ellen Degeneres.

But why wait so long to announce this after loosing the mystery billboards upon the world? Timing the announcement to coincide with the Emmys is one possibility, waiting until our blood is boiling for more juicy entertainment -- or it could simply be that the trailer took a bit of perfecting, since it involves inserting said stand-ups into popular Netflix series.

Heck it's probably a combination of the two, but who cares so long as we keep on getting that sweet, sweet comedy.

Oh, and more Orange is the New Black, please and thank you.
