Singer Sir Tom Jones is dating Elvis Presley’s ex-wife Priscilla, The Sun can reveal.
Although it is still in the early days, pals say the actress, 71, has put a smile back on old friend Jones’ face after the death of his wife, Linda, last year.
Jones, 76, has regularly spoken of his friendship with Priscilla’s ex Elvis, who died at age 42 in 1977.
“Tom has had a difficult year with Linda’s death and Priscilla has been an amazing support.”
A pal revealed: “Tom and Priscilla are courting. There is a spark between them but they are taking it slowly. It really is early days but they get on so well.
“Voice UK” coach Jones was coy when asked about Priscilla. He told The Sun: “We have been friends for a long time. She’s a lovely lady. We do enjoy our nights out together.”
They were seen going for dinner together last month, pulling up at A-list Hollywood restaurant Craig’s in a white Rolls-Royce.
Last night a spokesman for Jones said: “Priscilla Presley and Tom have known each other for many, many years.”
Priscilla, who starred in hit US soap “Dallas” and the “Naked Gun” films, married “Are You Lonesome Tonight?” singer Elvis in 1967. They divorced in 1973.
She has since been in relationships with actor Mike Edwards, writer Marco Garibaldi and former “Pop Idol” judge Nigel Lythgoe.
Sir Tom — who once admitted to sleeping with 250 groupies — was left heartbroken last April when his wife of 59 years died of cancer at age 75.
