This FAQ is intended to answer frequently asked questions on allergies and asthma in the misc.kids newsgroup. Though the comments are geared towards parents of children, there is plenty of information for adults as well.

The information in this FAQ is the collected "net wisdom" of a number of folk. It is not intended to replace medical advice. None of the contributors are medical professionals. Most of us either have allergies/asthma or have relatives/children with asthma/allergies, so this collection represents the experiences and prejudices of individuals.
