Thank you for a fun year!

A joint message from VPSA and ASSU

Dear undergraduates,

I’m writing to express my gratitude for all your efforts this year in shaping social life on campus. It has been amazing to see you all planning and participating in a wide variety of events and programming.

The work to maintain an engaging, joyous, and dynamic campus student life is only possible through strong collaboration with students. Specifically, I would like to thank 2023-24 ASSU President Sophia Danielpour and Vice President Kyle Haslett for working with me and all of Student Affairs to make the necessary adjustments and introduce resources contributing to campus life now and for many years to come. Our collaboration has led to significant improvements in programming, neighborhoods, student spaces, and policy refinements, enhancing the overall student experience. I cannot say it better than Sophia and Kyle, so I will turn this over to them. Please watch the video. You might see you and your friends at one of this year's many events. And finally, as the academic year comes to a close, I would like to send a huge congratulations to everyone who is graduating and wish all of you a fun and safe summer. We in Student Affairs look forward to seeing all returning students back here in the fall.

Sincerely,

Samuel Santos
