ABC bubble drama Once Upon a Time this Sunday drew 3 million total viewers and a 0.9 rating, rising (11 percent and a tenth) for a second straight week to mark its biggest audience since March 12 and a 5-week high in the demo.
Leading out of that, Match Game (3.3 mil/0.8) and American Crime‘s Season 3 finale (2 mil/0.4, average TVLine reader grade of “B”) both ticked up a tenth in the demo. All told, ABC enjoyed its best night since the Oscars (on Feb. 26).[pmc_inline_gallery]
Over on CBS, NCIS: LA (9.1 mil/1.0), Madam Secretary (7.7 mil/0.7) and bubble drama Elementary (4.8 mil/0.5) all were flat in the demo.
Elsewhere….
NBC | Little Big Shots (8.7 mil/1.5) rose two tenths and again led Sunday in the demo. Chicago Justice (6 mil/1.0) and Shades of Blue (4.6 mil/0.8) each drew their best audiences since March 12, with the latter also rising a tenth in the demo.
FOX | Bob‘s Burgers (1.6 mil/0.7) dipped, The Simpsons (2.3 mil/1.0) and Family Guy (2.4 mil/1.2) were up, and Making History (1.4 mil/0.6) and Last Man on Earth (1.9 mil/0.8) were flat.

Good for OUAT. Nice to see it rise a little. Also good for Shades of Blue. FOX is strange on Sundays how up and down they are. Making History should be just that, history.
If Once keeps rising then it will be renew
Hope so. If they get a 13 episode final season I hope it starts in October and that it is not held till like April 2018.
Come to think of it, if it is renewed for a short season maybe ABC would run it in the January February winter period when most ABC show are between seasons. A refreshing break from endless game shows and reality TV.
Amazing that AFV (a 27 year old show) hit a 1.1 in the demo with over 5 million total viewers at 7 pm. Why not move it to 8 as a lead in to what will be OUAT and Agents short final seasons? Relaunch the night at mid season with comedies/reality (FOTB and Shark Tank come to mind). Or game shows. They need to stay family friendly on that evening, seeming as that what works best for them.
This should be a good sign for OUAT to get renewed for a possible final season.
Good for OUAT! I’m SO excited for next week’s ep!
Once has been strong ever since it came back from the winter finale. If renewed, they should consider shorter seasons, 13-15 episodes, to force tighter plotting.
On American crime, I thought the Haitian nanny was being abused by the child! Did anyone else think that?
