Elementary closed Season 5 on Sunday night with 4.1 million total viewers and a 0.5 demo rating, hitting and matching series lows. Readers gave the closer an average grade of “B+”; Season 6 will premiere at midseason and run 13 episodes.

Opening CBS’ night, Madam Secretary (7.5 mil/0.7) was steady with its season finale.

Over on NBC, Shades of Blue did 3.8 mil/0.7 followed by 4 mil/0.7 for its season finale, with both hours tying series lows.

ABC’s coverage of the Billboard Music Awards (7.7 mil/2.3) dropped 21 and 28 percent from last year yet still dominated the night in the demo.

Over on Fox, Bob’s Burgers (1.6 mil/0.7) slipped two tenths, The Simpsons (2.1 mil/0/9) dipped a tenth, Making History (1.3 mil/0.6) was flat and Family Guy (averaging 2.15 mil/1.0) was down two tenths.
