Amy Gravitt and Nina Rosenstein have been promoted to exec VPs of programming at HBO.

The pair report to Casey Bloys, the former comedy development chief who was upped to president of HBO series, latenight and specials in January.

Gravitt oversee development and production of all comedy series. Rosenstein steers talk shows, news programs and specials for the network. Both had served as senior VPs

“Both Amy and Nina are talented leaders with sharp, creative instincts and an ear for unique voices,” Bloys said. “All one needs to do is look at the programs they have developed for the network to see the significant impact they have had on HBO as a whole.”

Gravitt has been with HBO since 2004. She’s been responsible for developing and overseeing the production of original comedy series including “Veep,” “Silicon Valley,” “Eastbound & Down” and the upcoming “Divorce” with Sarah Jessica Parker and “Vice Principals,” with Danny McBride. She started her career with Section 8, the production banner headed by George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh’s production company. Before that she spent several years in the U.S. Navy, rising to the rank of lieutenant.

Rosenstein has been with HBO since 1992. Her present responsibilities include “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,” “Real Time with Bill Maher” and “Vice,” as well as the upcoming Vice-produced daily newscast and as well as the weekly talk show “Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons” and the short-form content that Jon Stewart is developing for HBO Now.
