The Ewoks in 100 Words

Middle fingers up for any alleged Star Wars fan who hates on the Ewoks as a bunch of Muppets. First of all, the Muppets rule. Second, yes, god forbid something as grown-up and serious as freaking Star Wars retain any sense of childlike delight. Third, these little teddy-bear people more or less singlehandedly destroy the Imperial war machine, turning the lush Endor forest into a killing field upon which the Emperor’s black dreams die. Muppets? A Muppet version of the Viet Cong, maybe. Finally, their battle horns give me the chills and the original Ewok song is the best. Yub yub!
