UPDATED: First images of Sophie Turner (and her wig) on the set of Game of Thrones

More new images have been released by PAP4U on their Twitter account, featuring the Game of Thrones cast recently on the set in Northern Ireland. The latest photos include Sophie Turner, who hasn’t been spotted around a set until now. The photos were taken during the same week as several other images we’ve seen from PAP4U, according to the photographer, including the set we posted last Wednesday.

In the new pics, Sophie Turner, Kit Harington, and more co-stars head for the make-up trailers after they finish filming for the day in Corbet.

From behind, we can more of the fancy braided hairstyle typical for Sansa- and Sophie’s blonde hair peeking out below the red. That confirms what we’ve suspected for quite a while, that Turner will be wearing a wig in season 7 instead of dyeing her hair. In previous years, she’s always dyed her hair to match the Tully color, to the point where many fans believe the actress is a natural redhead. No longer, though!

In the other new images, also heading for the trailers is Liam Cunningham, Gwendoline Christie, Bella Ramsey, and from behind, that’s Daniel Portman in the cap.

Turner has fully returned to her blonde roots, and I have to say the wig looks convincing, from what we can see in the photos. I don’t think we have to fret over season-1-level bad wigs.

  1. The girl standing there with Bella. Could she be an actress as well? Her face looks familiar and the hairstyle is very GOT-like. Weren’t the reports saying that they were looking for multiple young characters, not just the 10 and 16 year-old ones?

  2. I agree with Sue, the wig looks good. Glad to get confirmation that Sophie in fact was on the set with the other actors.

  3. The wig looks good! It seems silly that we were worried about wig quality on such a huge show, but then you remember Margaery in season two …

  4. The wig looks good to me.

God damn it feels good to comment, it’s getting really hard to resist the spoilers….

  5. Gravemaster,

She’s just wearing braids with noticeable modern elastics. I think those are two of the crew people we’ve seen in photos before.

Also Bella being so young might still have to have a chaperone on set.

  6. Why do you think she’s wearing a wig this season? Sophie Turner wants to be blonde and stop dying her hair? Or they want it to look better?

  7. I think Sansa is toast this season. I think with the tattoo and not filming till now. God I hope I’m wrong.

  8. finally an article I can look at… with all the spoiler stuff that has been posted I have been staying a waaaaayyyy
I have been waiting to see a pic of sophie with a wig!! she looks great!

  9. Dee Stark: finally an article I can look at… with all the spoiler stuff that has been posted I have been staying a waaaaayyyy

    I know, right? Ha.

Hopefully, people will keep that stuff out of here, I know people get a little careless when spoiler season opens and the leaks start happening.

  10. Oh Baby Bear!! Can’t help feeling that its a nasty trap. They made Lyanna Mormont a huge fan favorite and will end up brutally killing her this season.

  11. From the back it definitely looks like a hair helmet. It’s hard to tell how decent it looks from the front in that one photo.

However, it’s painfully obvious that it’s not her real hair. It looks like straw, like Natalie and Lena’s wigs, rather than natural hair.

Although I understand the decision from Sophie’s point of view, I still think it’s a real shame that such a glaring inconsistency has had to be introduced so late in the game.

  12. I don’t think the wig is such a big deal
bet were gonna hear so many complaints about it when the season airs lol

  13. Mihnea:
The wig looks good to me.

God damn it feels good to comment, it’s getting really hard to resist the spoilers….

I’ve been watching for you and missing your presence, but I get you wanting to avoid spoilers.

  14. sun: Liam

I always hear complaints about the wigs on the show, Emilia seems to get the most, to my eye I see it a tiny bit at times, but mostly its fine to me.

  15. Dee Stark,

Just told Minena been missing comments. I’ve looked for you but you are MIA too, avoiding spoilers. Winter is coming and it’s going to be a long winter and longer spring waiting for summer and S7!

  16. Boojam,

i didn’t even notice that Marg wears a wig lol

    Elizabeth,

yes, I come around sometimes.. miss you guys 🙁 but the last few posts have been major spoiler titles and I get scared to even participate in non spoiler articles for comments that may give something away!!! Its going to be a loooooooooong wait. Lets assume the show will premiere in july 2017, were about 9 months away. ugh.

  17. maeve,

Ha sansa-less. Yes, yes. Agree. With 13 epsiodes left, I do think it’s time for the writers to let Jon take charge of his own story which is pretty much *the story*.

  18. Kit’s expression in the first photo is hilariously solemn.

L7R seemed to think that Isaac was filming a different scene from everybody else, but it’s possible every other castmember, including Maisie, was in this big scene. Or they could have been doing different Northern scenes.

  19. The wig is fine. No wig will ever be worse than the one they made Bran wear in season 4. That not only was the worst wig on the show, it was one of the worst wigs I’ve ever seen in anything.

  20. Pictures of Sophie wearing credible wig = calamitous world crisis averted.

Bella Ramsey is such a cute girl. 🙂

    maeve:

My hopes for good Jon scenes in the North (read Sansa-less) are slowly getting crushed.

    Good.

    lucy:

With 13 epsiodes left, I do think it’s time for the writers to let Jon take charge of his own story. . .

I can’t see how Jon Snow can write the scripts, given he doesn’t exist.

  21. Dee Stark: the last few posts have been major spoiler titles and I get scared to even participate

They’ve included some spoiler stuff but there’s still a lot of guessing/speculation behind them. It’s wise to avoid them though. The comments have just been a lot of theories and guessing too. It’s a bit of fun to read through and participate but it’s also very maddening since the premiere is so far away. I don’t mind these kind of spoilers, photos and such because they don’t really let us know much or anything very specific, and there’s no proof to accuracy. What I do hate is episode spoilers from leaked episodes.

  22. Dee Stark:
finally an article I can look at… with all the spoiler stuff that has been posted I have been staying a waaaaayyyyI have been waiting to see a pic of sophie with a wig!! she looks great!

Spoiler season has reeally picked in the last week or so. You and Mihnea were wise to stay away 🙂 .
But it’s exciting to get these tidbits and the speculation that goes with it is fun to read.

  23. Gwendoline’s backpack is pretty cool!
Sophie’s wig looks fine – but then, I hardly ever notice bad wigs. (shrug)

  24. I must be really easily fooled because I didn’t realise most of the female cast were wearing wigs until I came to the various websites and forums after season 4! I just naively thought they maybe had some extentions to “top up” their own hair. 😀

I can understand why Sophie Turner might want to wear a wig, it’s to protect her own hair and let it recuperate from repeated dying (and apparently bleaching for some other role). It really takes its toll on especially long hair – I know from personal experience, and my hair is naturally very thick and strong!

  25. OT: are the forum pages not working for anyone else? I am not able to comment, all comments seem to disappear into oblivion!

  26. Dee Stark,

I know, right?!! The flesh is weak and I’ve already spoiled myself… I will try to stay away from future spoiler posts here. 🙂

  27. Clob,

yeah there is definitely a big difference between episode leaks and filming stuff which is all speculation…. but for example, I found out AFTER the fact that kit was spotted in stark armour last filming season which kind of gives a way a lot…. those are the things that I try to avoid. Because for me, I would like everything to be a surprise. I can see how its fun for some to speculate, and I get a little jealous sometimes, but I have two more seasons left and want to go in them like I did seasons 1 – 6!

    ghost of winterfell,

Well I am glad for you guys that youre getting some juice! Its not hard for me to stay away cause im used to it now, but the wait is hard!!!!!!!!!!!

  28. Ramsay’s 20th Good Man:
From the back it definitely looks like a hair helmet. It’s hard to tell how decent it looks from the front in that one photo.

However, it’s painfully obvious that it’s not her real hair. It looks like straw, like Natalie and Lena’s wigs, rather than natural hair.

Although I understand the decision from Sophie’s point of view, I still think it’s a real shame that such a glaring inconsistency has had to be introduced so late in the game.

    Agreed.

  29. So, Sophie is filming and all my theories about her being sick or pregnant go through the window. Very happy about that and sorry for not listening to those, who said that her photos would appear eventually. A woman can only admit she was wrong and ask forgiveness.

  30. Elizabeth,
    Newbietothegame,

Oh, thank you! I miss posting here to, but I find it easier to avoid the spoiler threads if I don’t comment that much. After all it isn’t the spoilers themselves I like but the debates with everyone else!

    Dee Stark,

    Thanks!

Better then I thought honestly… I expected to give in after couple of days but here I am, months after still spoiler free!

  31. As to what these pictures might mean… I’ll put the rest in spoilers for the benefit of Dee and Mihnea and others who want to stay spoiler-free.

If I’ve understood correctly, all the pictures by PAP4U were taken within a day or two towards the end of September. By now we’ve seen pictures of just about every named character that was at the KitN scene/WF + Brienne & Pod + young redhead lady with a sword & young boy.
I get pleasant shivers down my back thinking this is the “high-stakes” scene specified in the casting calls.

I enjoy reading all the fevered speculation here but I haven’t really formed my own speculation/theory yet. The young redhead made me think of a possible Alys Karstark equivalent but I haven’t developed a theory around it yet.

Also, I’m glad Bran will meet Dolorous Edd (one of my favs!) but it seems he might be present at this “high-stakes” scene – presumably in WF. Maybe it’s LF trouble?

Bran is Robb’s trueborn Stark heir so could possibly displace KitN Jon, and might LF try to wiggle around it by saying, OK, Bran’s the Lord of WF/KitN but he can’t have children (that’s what they all in Westeros seem to think), so no point in him marrying and Sansa should act as Lady of WF by her trueborn brother’s side (because a grand household needs a lady of the house), and eventually her trueborn Stark children should inherit… Just spitballing here but the showrunners have gone into some effort to signal internal Stark tensions.

I don’t know how Arya fits into this, though. She looked to be wearing (pre-)adolescent active Northern girl -type clothing, like Lady Lyanna Mormont wears (and young Lyanna Stark did in the flashback). The redhead wore a gown with a sword – maybe because she’s older (i.e. past puberty so considered a woman grown in Westeros)? How old is Arya anyway in the show? In the books she’s like 11 or 12, hasn’t flowered yet.

Finally, let me say how happy I am that there’s WotW during the off-season. I don’t comment often but I try to read all the comments. There are so many great guys here. Luka Nieto, ACME, Inga, Dornish Tyrell, Ramsay’s 20…. even our most fervent Dany spokesperson Dragonbringer, spring to mind off the top of my head. And Dee with her contagious enthusiasm and Mihnea and… Peter something, was it? The Chekov’s everything guy. He hasn’t been commenting much lately but we’re off books and off-seasnon…

Anyway, thanks to Sue and everybody at WotW for this great site! Much appreciated. (And apologies for yet another overly long post…)

  32. Jack Bauer 24,

Pretty sure they can afford real hair wigs. It only looks a little off in the pic because 1) it obviously needs adjusting if you can see blonde and 2) she has a long hairstyle and the mass of it is clipped at the top of her head in the pic to keep the integrity of the style in place. It looks nowhere near as full as Dany’s wig to me so that makes me feel a lot better that they won’t go from a natural thickness to something ten times as big. I think it looks pretty good actually. But the wigs are washed dried and styled like you would your own hair. But yeah that’s my take on that it is in a huge plastic clip up at the top so it isn’t going to look like that during filming. And good lord I think back in the day I had my natural hair done in up-dos for a few school dances where they made my hair waaaayyyy too big lol!

  33. Dee Stark:
finally an article I can look at… with all the spoiler stuff that has been posted I have been staying a waaaaayyyyI have been waiting to see a pic of sophie with a wig!! she looks great!

    Mihnea:
The wig looks good to me.

God damn it feels good to comment, it’s getting really hard to resist the spoilers….

Hey, you two. So it seems that your avoiding of spoliers goes well, right? Well, I can say the same thing for myself. I also try to avoid heavy spoilers this year. I read casting news, filming locations, returning characters etc. but I try to avoid articles that contain SPOILER! tags, because they may possibly spoil the plot.

I’ve been pretty much away from the site in the last couple weeks and I only read the titles of articles. One reason is avoiding of spoilers, the second reason is that I was really bothered by negativity (especially when it considers Sansa) and the main reason is another (non GoT) fansite which I joined a couple months ago and I spend most of my time there (and enjoy it as well). Also, university started two weeks ago and I have way less free time.

I still have to speculate a bit in order to keep my GoT hype but there is a long way till season 7 and I’m sure I will survive being a bit less active. Maybe in the last couple months before the season (when spoilers calm down a bit), I will be here more. But of course, I really await season 7 so I can return to writing my reviews. I got a grip towards the end of last season 6 and now I plan to make every review in the same style (and length) as the last two. I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed writing them, even though it took me more than an hour and I appreciated the positive feedback I recieved, especially from you two.

Take care! With best regards from Lord Parramandas.

  34. Arya serious,

Yeah, it’s obvous from the pictures that Sophie’s Sansa wig is styled with some plaiting along the top/front hair and the rest is free but in the picture – taken off set – the free ends have been gently wound and clipped to the top of her head to prevent them from getting messed and also to make Sophie’s life a bit easier. That’s NOT what the wig will look like in the show, lol!

Also, Bela above posted links to pictures with Sophie’s own hair. Darker roots, bleached lenghts, looks rather thin and brittle and the hairline especially is thin. Maybe Sophie wished to let her hair recuperate, maybe the showrunners thought her own hair wasn’t up to scratch?

Compare that to the sight of Gwen’s hair from the back in these pictures. Bleached, but very thick and healthy. Gwen’s always had a rather high hairline over her forhead but then a good thatch, unlike Sophie.

Oh! That’s so sweet! Thanks talvikorppi for noticing my comments!! Let my join you in thanking all the people in here that makes this site great and exciting. Most of the time, I have had very pleasant and interesting exchange of ideas with people in here, which have heightened my enjoyment both the show and the books.

Many thanks to Sue and the other members of WotW for making this possible!!

  36. Jack Bauer 24: Hmmmm….I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if anyone asks her about wearing a wig this season and see if it is truly because her hair was being damaged from dying it.

I imagine she’s wearing a wig because it doesn’t make sense to dye it when she dies in the first episode. I’m just kidding Dee & Mihnea, I have no idea if it’s the first episode that she dies in… or that she dies at all. 🙂

Honestly though, I think the wig will look just fine, especially as her style should continue to be a less formal northern style… More in the Catelyn style.

  37. Clob,

If Sansa dies, I think it would be towards the end of this season, possibly taking LF with her. I sincerely hope that she does not though.

  38. Flora Linden:
Pictures of Sophie wearing credible wig = calamitous world crisis averted.

Bella Ramsey is such a cute girl. ?

    Good.

I can’t see how Jon Snow can write the scripts, given he doesn’t exist.

Hush you, it’s a documentary and I refuse to believe otherwise! 😀 Hi to all the spoiler phobics *waves at everyone* we’ve missed you. There have been some pretty big spoilers already giving us an idea what may happen now we’re largely beyond the books and floundering around even more cluelessly than usual, so the recent posts have been worth avoiding.

  39. talvikorppi,

It doesn’t matter what Little Finger may or may not say to Northerners concerning who has legit claims to the North. Bran is the legitimate heir to the Lordship of Winterfell so if he wants to retain the title then he’ll retain it, if he wants to grant it to someone else then that is what it is going to happen. Jon was not named Lord of Winterfell, he was named King in the North which is a different title. As I understand it at the moment, he is King and Sansa is Lady of Winterfell (in lieu of Bran) but really should be considered Lady of the Dreadfort, though that also ignores the fact that her marriage to Tyrion was not truly annulled and so if Tyrion shows up, how legit was her marriage to Ramsey? And granted this is only speculation but regardless of what Bran knows about Jon’s true parentage, given the current apocalyptic threats, I doubt he moves against his brother/cousin’s current status. I think Bran knows Jon enough to know that none of his siblings will be left without what is rightfully theirs with Jon in charge, so what would be the point? Bran knows who Jon is and by this I mean the type of person Jon happens to be. Sure, Bran could suggest Jon give consideration to a bid for the Red Keep but again, why would that be important? The White Walkers are knocking at the door, there’s no time for any public reveal of Jon’s heritage and much less for the almost certain opposition he would face from others interested in the throne. If Bran plans on revealing any non Walker information, I believe he would do so in private to the only person to whom it should matter. And if the producers stay true to the characters as written in the source material, neither Bran or Arya would consider moving against Jon. Sansa might give it a thought or two but in the end I think she would also heed her father’s advise and understand that the pack is stronger than the lone wolf.

  40. Mike:
    Sue the Fury,

Yes Bella will definitely have a chaperone. As did Maisie and Sophie when they were on set at that age

Youd think Bella lives on her own and has people serving her in real life the way she pulls off her character. I cant actually see her being a little girl who needs parents ^_^

  41. Lord Parramandas:
    Clob,
If Sansa dies, I think it would be towards the end of this season, possibly taking LF with her. I sincerely hope that she does not though.

I sincerely hope she takes down Littlefinger. Not so sure I want her to die doing it, I kind of like Sansa and have my head canon role for her in the end.

Anyway, he’s hers to bring down. I don’t like these ideas floating around that Arya would kill him in revenge. LF has never been on Arya’s radar or her “list”, and Sansa knows far more about LF, all kinds of damaging info, even if she doesn’t know how LF betrayed her father – yet! But Sandor, who was there, is heading north…

ETA: I’m not expecting Sansa to personally kill LF. She’ll provide the damning evidence and let her brother (cousin), Brienne or somebody else do the actual deed.

  42. Ser Broccoli McBroccoliface: Youd think Bella lives on her own and has people serving her in real life the way she pulls off her character. I cant actually see her being a little girl who needs parents ^_^

She was reciting a handful of lines and told how she’s suppose to act. I can’t imagine she’s anything other than a normal 12 year old. Old enough to be able to do what she did, but still a 12 year old girl.

  43. Lord Parramandas,

its great to see you come around as well. 🙂

I really don’t know how to speculate the unknown. I mean I can give like 5 possible scenarios on where each main characters storylines go.. its hard. I can speculate during the season, but in the offseason I find it makes the wait much harder!
I look forward to your reviews for season 7 though

  44. talvikorppi,

It could be that it was not worth to destroy her hair for possibly less screen time and less filming.. I dunno. but makes a lot of sense to me. and its not a big difference.

  45. talvikorppi: Finally, let me say how happy I am that there’s WotW during the off-season. I don’t comment often but I try to read all the comments. There are so many great guys here. Oh you are so sweet!!! you notice my comments also! I loved your breakdown of the episodes this past season as well… I really enjoyed them and I thank the site and the community here for bring people like us together 🙂

    Clob,

    Lol!! nice one! hahaha

  46. Danny,

And… breathe! Sorry, your insightful post would’ve been easier to read with some paragraph breaks. Sorry to be a bit of a Stannis. 🙂

I understand what you’re saying and broadly agree. What I was trying to speculate on was how LF could try to exploit any confusion in the Stark camp. There is some confusion. Apparently Sansa is Lady of Winterfell (=ruling feodal lord, not just the wife of a lord) but Jon is the king with his seat also at WF… I bet the northern lords who acclaimed him KitN didn’t think of that. They’re so excitable, bless. 🙂

The Northmen seem pretty straightforward. Add devious, politicking LF and there will be trouble. I don’t know how or what, like I said, I was just spitballing with the Bran angle.

Thank you for your input, I’ll think about it – this is why off season can be bearable, we fans come together and examine different ideas, speculations, theories.

  47. Dee Stark,

Ikr? I don’t even notice the wigs. Maybe I’m just used to letting it go, since I see them on women irl EVERY DAY and think nothing of it. And don’t anyone give me the “historically accurate” crap either–it’s a FANTASY! Let’s say the ancient Valyrians invented wig making to make those elaborate hairstyles easier, ok? Geesh, people! Let the wig thing go!

Also: MAN BUN SIGHTING AHOY!! ?

  48. Dee Stark,

By speculation, I meant keeping the show in my mind, such as reading these (non-spoilerish) articles, casting news wtc. The actual plot speculation will come when the season starts.

And another thing Dee. I know my words are almost meaningless but please remain positive like you were last season and ignore those, who get “bothered” by your positivity and lack of criticism (Well, I’m sure you are already doing it). I tried to be very positive about the show last season but I got involved in pointless bickering too many times (especially when a certain GoT Wikia admin was involved…). In the last couple weeks, I’ve completely come to your way of thinking. Well, I’m sure being a member of a fansite, where most of the people are like you, certainly played the role in that.

  49. That first pic of Sophie isn’t very flattering at all…photoshops are already spreading like wildfire.

  50. Lord Parramandas,

Ah okay… yeah I see what youre saying. I need to be involved in something GOT as well… so I visit the site every day but sometimes I cant read anything new or click on articles for spoiler fears… but, once in a while, like today, I get lucky 🙂

Yeah, I know. You are right. I will try to always stay true to the GOT fan that I am 🙂 no matter what! Last season was super tough though.
But yes, this place is usually conducive to a very positive environment, and I think you should have no problems remain positive as well ignoring those opposed to it!

  51. Jack Bauer 24:
That first pic of Sophie isn’t very flattering at all…photoshops are already spreading like wildfire.

She looks like a normal person sneezing or coughing, except most normal persons would look far uglier sneezing/coughing. I know I do, though most people I know consider me fairly attractive when I’m not sneezing/coughing.

I have no idea of the photoshops you refer to, and I hope I never will. She’s just an actor doing her job, papped off set.

We all have been caught in an unflattering photo once, or more likely, many times, but those haven’t been spread worldwide with (to me, unexplicable) despicapble, snide comments.

But maybe some people get hung up on the fact that “celebrities” and “film stars” are just normal people who don’t look glamorous all the time, and get angry about it. Dunno. [shrug]

  52. Dee Stark,

With “the fansite, where most people are like you”, I actually meant LFU not WotW. But yes, WotW can be pretty great as well and certainly the best GoT fansite I encountered. Still, things got tense sometimes especially when “the negative ones” step together.

  53. Jack Bauer 24:
That first pic of Sophie isn’t very flattering at all…photoshops are already spreading like wildfire.

True. She looks like she’s mid-yawn. And there’s double-chin. Care to post a link or two to the photoshops?

  54. Awww! Nice to see the girls hugging after S6 had their characters sort of pitted against each other/not on friendly terms to my very disliking. Hope there’ll be a bit more sisterhood next season. Poor lonely Sansa needs a girlfriend asap if you ask me.

Also, I remember Bryan Cogman saying in reply to the critics of the rape scene before S6 aired that Sansa’s story would be long and ongoing IIRC, so I don’t think she’d die in the first few episodes.

  55. talvikorppi,

Correct me if I’m Wrong but why everybody is doubting about Arya’s Role she is a highborn Lady of one of the greatest houses in Westeros…. she have value!!! And by the law Sansa is the lady of the dreadfort not Winterfell… she is a widower of the lords of dreadfort.

  56. Charlie Stark,

Well, she’s also the eldest trueborn daughter of the last rightfull Lord of Winterfell and the widow of the (usurper) last one… So she could be both Lady of Winterfell and the Dreadfort (nobility titles can be cumulative). And since there are no more Boltons to claim neither the Dreadfort nor Winterfell, she would be the first in line of succesion to claim the Ladyship of Winterfell (until Bran arrives, that is…).

  57. Atish Vaze:
Bella Ramsay seems to be involved in multiple scenes again this season

Maybe but these pics are only from one day of shooting. That doesn’t mean much.

She’s not a strong actor so I hope they don’t overuse her.

  58. Terrance,

Liam Cunningham disagrees with you about Bella’s acting abilities and I believe he has worked with great thespians to know when someone is good or not.

  59. I want to say something about spoilers, especially because some of our non-spoiler friends are reading this thread.

I was totally unspoiled when I started watching GoT. Some friends had made noises it’s worth watching, so I gave it a try when free telly in my country broadcast season 3. (Two months before season 4 aired on the HBO pay channel.)

Right. I got into GoT by watching season 3. I immediately loved it, though it was very confusing. Like, who are all these people?!

The thing I remember best from S3 is Jaime and Brienne. The first time I saw Jaime was when Brienne pushed him through a hedge and he was this bedraggled, dirty, sarky and fun and smart character, and Brienne was so high and mighty. I immediately loved them both. I hadn’t seen Jaime fling Bran oot the windea. So, of course I loved Jaime and Brienne.

Only later, after I got the DVDs for the first 3 seasons, I began to understand why so many people really hate Jaime Lannister, with no hope of redemption or forgiveness. Because Bran.

I saw season 3, then gobbled the books, then re-read them and noticed all the richness, and was a bit effed that season 5 didn’t go like the books (I’m thinking of poor Jaime’s story here.)

I love tidbits from filming sightings and the ensuing speculation but I do not like real leaks like the first four episodes in season 5. I love the off-season speculation when it’s just speculation. Last year “speculation” was actually leaks, and I don’t like that.

I want to know lots but nothing definite, because, where’s the fun in that?

However, I’d be a hypocrite if I pretended to loathe spoilers. I don’t. Just not too much.

I love seeing favourite books brought to life in TV of films. I might not totally agree with the interpretation, but appreciate the effort by all the cast and crew and some producer/showrunner that brings my imaginings into life. That’s what GoT/ASoIaF does better than most.

  60. Danny,

We’ll see how she does in a more conversational scene. I don’t doubt that she’ll do just fine as the casting has always been very good. So far we haven’t had much to go on, which is why all the heaps of praise was surprising. She did good but one would think she was a main character that carried the show if they read some things. She had a few lines in a manner of “I’m young but I’m in the big chair so respect me!” and a handful more lines telling three lords that they didn’t do what they should have, in simple terms. None of that required any great deal of acting. Hopefully she’ll get the chance to have some genuine dialogue with other characters.

  61. Candace,

Who knows. I tend to think that she has other roles coming and doesn’t want her hair to fall out from all the dying. I do speculate that she may die this season. if so that’s another reason to not change.

  62. Just dropped in to say hi and to say the wig is 100% better than Marg’s and Bran’s wigs, let’s all just chill a bit.

Been busy with work and moving, but I’ve loved every piece of spoiler I can get my hot little hands on. I don’t like surprises!!! LOL. Totally respect not wanting to be spoiled, though.

  63. Apollo:
Nikola has been in Greenland for several days… could he be shooting in in Iceland?

    https://instagram.com/p/BLrTjoSgdme/

Nikolaj’s wife is from Greenland so it’s probably just a family holiday. Greenland is quite far away from Iceland where some GoT filming is expected to take place later this year or early next year.

  64. I just wanted to comment on The Lord of Winterfell title. Yes, Bran would have claim over Jon and his sisters, but he *is* The Three Eyed Raven now. To me, that title/ existence would come before anything else for Bran. In a way, he is a magical being now, not of the world. But, he could take up residence in the weirwood tree growing in Winterfell, and ensure “There must always be a Stark at Winterfell”.

  65. Clob,

While I am not ready to name her the new Meryl Streep, I think the little we saw of Bella bodes well for the type of actress she can become. Acting isn’t just the reading of lines or whatever intonations an actor gives to those lines, though of course those are incredibly important.

Acting also involves having a presence, selling your character. Bella is what? 11? 12? How easy do you think it was for a girl her age with no professional acting experience to stand in that room with experienced actors and command the scene the way she did? To actually sell to the audience this fierce girl who can silence grown men (and women) with a stare? She was probably terrified but she pulled it off with great success. To me presence is incredibly important, it is the difference between Brad Pitt’s Achilles vs Russell Crowe’s Maximus, both really decent actors but Russell is simply more memorable because he makes you believe his character.

  66. ChellieW,

I think you have a good point there!

    Beware of spoilers.

I imagine the Starks having to flee south from the WW menace with Bran staying in the weirwood tree at Winterfell to confront them.
  67. ChellieW:

To the outside world, he’s the oldest… erhm, the only surviving son of Lord Eddard Stark. In the Westerosi feodal society, trueborn sons come before daughters, and bastard sons don’t even count.

But here we’ve got a situation where a bastard son of Ned Stark is acclaimed the King in the North.

Except he isn’t a bastard son of Ned Stark, heh.

So the stage is set for some confusion, especially if Jon’s parentge becomes known. Or even if it doesn’t, but Bran, if and when he returns, is ahead of Jon in the Stark line of succession. Only… Jon was acclaimed King in the North, and apparently his trueborn Strak sister Sansa is Lady of Winterfell.

I think nobody knows, and Bran appears and makes it even more messed. Bran may not want it but the Northern lords might. Distracting them from the real war. Facepalm.

(Is it any wonder I don’t advocate “hereditary head of state” as a form of government?)

  68. talvikorppi: To the outside world, he’s the oldest… erhm, the only surviving son of Lord Eddard Stark. In the Westerosi feodal society, trueborn sons come before daughters, and bastard sons don’t even count.

This! I don’t know why people don’t get it. Bran is Lord of Winterfell and has every right to hold that title based on the rules of succession. The show separated the KITN and Lord/Lady of Winterfell titles and made Jon king by acclamation, so I have no idea what they’ll do about this when Bran returns (Robb’s will would have come in handy here to clear up the confusion), but Bran should at least be Lord of Winterfell from the moment he sets foot in Winterfell/Westeros. I imagine LF will not be pleased lmao.

  69. As I mentioned in another thread, this high-stakes scene with almost every Stark adherent there and dressed to the nines–either it’s a Bran-gram, Jon’s coronation (he doesn’t seem like the pomp-and-circumstance type) or a wedding. If the latter, it’s probably Littlefinger (Aiden was extra-spiffy in these fotos) marrying Sansa. The very thought is nauseating, but plot-wise it’s plausible and very dramatic. Perhaps instead Dany has shown up and is about to marry Jon.

I think the wig is fine, though I find the braiding rather matronly on such a glamourous creature.

I like Bella Ramsey well enough, but mainly because I like Lyanna Mormont and her staunch, forthright, bluff way of expressing truths. I don’t find Bella particularly animated or versatile–yet. She has an important role in another project, so she probably has talents not yet on display on GoT. At 12, Maisie was so much more personable–animated, piquant, funny, heart-wrenching, vulnerable–AND she chose to act left-handed, which I’m told is especially had in fencing. But to be fair, her role was larger and more multi-faceted.

  70. I don’t concern myself with line of succession or who’s in charge of Winterfell at this point in the story. It will play a part I’m sure while working in a LF story arc, but it isn’t the big picture. By the time the story reaches the end and it matters who is in the seat, then we’ll see who is left. I don’t think there will be enough show for a contested seat of the house storyline. For now, Jon is KitN and The North is following him and any diplomatic talks with other regions will be by him or in his name. Sansa is Lady of Winterfell, essentially second in command and will likely be in charge anytime Jon leaves. By the time Bran shows up and/or they find out about Jon I bet shit will already/soon be hitting the fan and they won’t turn away from Jon. All that matters then is surviving against the NK and I’m betting it’s Jon AND Dany leading that fight.

  71. Apollo:
    Sue the Fury,

More recent stuff from Italica… it’s in Spanish though, so perhaps one of our Spanish folks could translate..

I’ll put the translation under spoiler tags just in case:

    First clip of the pit:

He’s describing the video and says they’re covering the center part with the platform.

He talks about one of the installations and says he has a theory about it (which he mentions after 7:00).

4:50 – they added some stairs in front of the green area

5:20 – closer look at the platform (he says it can handle a lot of weight, but it’s just his assumption based on the way the structure looks)

6:15 – he says that’s the main entrance of the construction (he has pictures from different angles to give you an idea of how the place looks from the exterior and interior)

7: 05 – brown installation (he speculates that they’re building an arch and they’ll use CGI to create an entrance into the pit)

8:12 – closeup of the brown installation (he repeats the same thing about the arch)

8:52 – more boards they’re using for construction (again he speculates it’s for the arch)

9:22 – the grass on the entryway walls is fake and he says it’s added by the show for filming

10:09 – entryways at the side of the wall (lead to some corridors); he likes the entryways and hopes they’ll be used by the show (he’s just describing them)

10:51 – the white tents are restricted areas

11:00 – props (fake rocks, fake grass, and living plants brought in by production)

11:55 – a lot of bags filled with living plants and for filming

12:27 – real trees for planting

12:37 – ‘no entry’ box (he has no idea what’s inside)

Besides the trees, grass, and plants (and him speculating about the arch), it’s mostly him describing the images. Either way, very interesting. 🙂

  72. Vally,

The HBO viewer guide refers to Jon as KITN and Sansa as Lady of Winterfell. Which sort of makes sense, in that Winterfell isn’t the nobles’ to give, while the crown can by acclamation be given to anyone. It’s not a very workable arrangement long term, though.

  73. Flayed Potatoes,

Thanks so much for this ?

Ties in with what I saw there a few weeks ago.. part of the archway was left in the restricted area as were some of the rocks and shrubbery but they’ve got way more there now.

Those corridors and antechambers are really perfect for shooting as well, and they look really similar to Las Reales Astrazanas in Seville- so my guess is that’ll serve as part of the Dragonpit too (perhaps the undervaults).

  74. Clob: She was reciting a handful of lines and told how she’s suppose to act.I can’t imagine she’s anything other than a normal 12 year old.Old enough to be able to do what she did, but still a 12 year old girl.

Your sarcasm meter needs some adjusting, Clob. Im sure shes a normal young girl. She just does a fantastic job with her character 🙂

  75. Ser Broccoli McBroccoliface: Your sarcasm meter needs some adjusting, Clob. Im sure shes a normal young girl. She just does a fantastic job with her character

I know… I believe I have it set backwards. I usually tend to think that things are sarcastic when they’re actually not. 🙂

  76. orange: That not only was the worst wig on the show, it was one of the worst wigs I’ve ever seen in anything.

Nah, not nearly. Go back and look at the scene of Ned’s execution. The wig they put on Cersei looked like she had a sleeping cat on her head. I still remember that thing. The “hair crew” redeemed themselves with the beautiful, long flowing locks Cersei wore in later seasons, but that one a the end of season 1 was horrible, much worse than Bran’s.

Glad to see Sophie on set, but in that first pic, it looks like she’s been gripped by a deep, hacking cough. I bet she’s been sick, there has been a lot of nasty stuff floating around the past couple of months. Hope she’s feeling well and looking forward to any and all of her scenes and Maisie’s

DEE STARK and MIHNEA — good to see you on here, at least for a little bit. I admire your strength to stay away from spoilers. I know that I couldn’t/haven’t done it. (and regretted not staying away, but, oh well, it’s my favorite show. Can’t help wanting to know everything.)

  77. With the vile Walder Frey and his vile sons now gone, I wonder if Roslin (Walder’s daughter) and her hubby Edmure Tully will be returning this season to claim House Frey? And if so, what if Roslin turned out to be not quite as sweet and innocent as she appeared to be on the night of the Red Wedding?

  78. Thronetender: The wig they put on Cersei looked like she had a sleeping cat

Hehe! If we’re talking wigs, I also wanna throw in that godawful Bieber-style Dany’s baby had in the HotU vision in S2E10. Sooo creepy! 😀

  79. Vally,

That was not a wig, was the real baby hair. I remember the comments of the Blu-ray Emilia saying that everyone thought was a wig when in fact the baby was born with a lot of hair.

  80. Yeah ! New pictures !

Handsome-as-ever Kit Harington appears to be contemplating the meaning of life (^^), Bella Ramsey is cute as a button and Sophie Turner looks perfectly lovely.
I do not quite see the “bald patches” thing. She has always seemed to have very fine hair, a fact now made more apparent by its colour (blond does nothing to add texture). Furthermore, in this particular batch of pictures, her natural hair is messily put together and quite greasy as a result of spending a day of shooting tightly braided and squeezed under a wig. Nobody’s mane would look picture-ready in those circumstances ^^

    Ramsay’s 20th Good Man,
We will have to wait for the onscreen effect but, as far as I can see, it does not look half bad. The colour is pretty consistent, so is the texture and, above all, the thickness…

In my non-professional opinion, the recurring “hair helmet” problem you refer to (quite rightly so, dare I say) is not due to the quality of the wigs but to their density, length and styling. To put it simply, it is way too much, too thick, too long hair ! No human skull can have that many follicles in it.
Here, the hair department appears to have calmed down a bit and maintained a semi-realistic look. So there is room for hope ^^

    talvikorppi,
That is lovely of you to say. Cheers mate ! 😉
And yes, this site is as remarkable as it gets. The admins do a terrific job.

    ChellieW,
A Dornish Tyrell will do that to you 🙂

  81. Sean C.,

My understanding was that while Robb was King in the North, Bran was Lord of Winterfell when the Starks were still fighting the War of 5 Kings. Am I wrong? He acted the part of Lord, he met with banner men and made decisions as the Lord of Winterfell.

  82. lucy: take charge

You think he should not interact with other major characters? Just all by himself 100% of the time?

What a ridiculous, petty, insipid complaint.

  83. Danny,

He acted the part of Lord, he met with banner men and made decisions as the Lord of Winterfell.

While Rickon, may he rest in peace, loudly cracked walnuts. That was a great scene, and oddly echoed in that other great scene in which Tyrion talked with Jaime about their beetle smashing cousin, Orson.

  84. SaltNPepper: You think he should not interact with other major characters? Just all by himself 100% of the time?

What a ridiculous, petty, insipid complaint.

*sarcasm* Yeah. Obviously, what I meant is that he should ONLY interact with a wall for the next two seasons. */sarcasm* And that is all I’m going to say about that, madam or sir, since for the most part posters on this site are pretty respectful of differing opinions.

  85. Lord Parramandas:
    Clob,

If Sansa dies, I think it would be towards the end of this season, possibly taking LF with her. I sincerelyhope that she does not though.

    Sansa’s

not going to die in Season 7. Sophie Turner basically gave that away at the Emmys (she said she’d be Kit’s age when she’s done with the show. He was 23. She’s 20.) And narratively it makes little sense.

Bran is the Stark most likely to die. Once he gives his info dump. The fact is he is a godlike creature. He can warg the dragons. He can warg the Night King. He knows all. He is an incredibly valuable asset.

So, he’s pretty much dead. With him on the side of good there is little chance evil can win. There is no way in HELL Jon is going to be lucky enough to go into a battle with a friggin god on his side.

  86. lucy: *sarcasm* Yeah.Obviously, what I meant is that heshould ONLY interact with a wall for the next two seasons. */sarcasm* And that is all I’m going to say about that, madam or sir, since forthe most part posters on this site are pretty respectful of differing opinions.

I was perfectly respectful. You don’t have a differing opinion. You said something insipid. As is clear by the fact that you have no way to explain or defend it. Honesty isn’t rudeness.

I don’t care about Sansa. But Jon stans thinking anyone having agency in his storyline takes away from him only diminishes his character. He isn’t the tedious Mary Sue you want him to be.

  87. Mary,

I agree. Signs such as her hair back to blonde, the tattoo, and not appearing on set until now leads me to believe that Sansa will die this season. If she has to die, let it be double-crossing LittleFinger and succeeding.

  88. Catspaw Assassin:

Unfortunately, with only 13 episodes left, I doubt the show will do anything that interesting with Edmure’s story which is too bad because I love Tobias Menzies. But I hope that Edmure at least re-coops Riverrun.

  89. SarahM: Sansa’s

Bran is the Stark most likely to die. Once he gives his info dump. The fact is he is a godlike creature. He can warg the dragons. He can warg the Night King. He knows all. He is an incredibly valuable asset.

Many fans think either or Sansa or Arya will die. No one is expecting Bran to be the one so that would be really, really shocking. I believe GRRM has said Bran is one of the characters to make it to the end, but the show could certainly change it up for the reasons that you mention or maybe just because Arya and Sansa have more TV fans.

  90. lakin1013,

She did appear on set though the pics were just released different days so it messes with our minds lol! Littlefinger…he is my number one (over even Cersei) to get axed this season. At least that’s my wish ?. I think if he’s in a situation where he can’t have Sansa or is getting taken down, he will try to take her with him to the death. So I am totally with you…I think if she goes down this season I really hope it’s in a meaningful way like taking him down once and for all!

  91. lucy,

Unfortunately, with only 13 episodes left, I doubt the show will do anything that interesting with Edmure’s story which is too bad because I love Tobias Menzies. But I hope that Edmure at least re-coops Riverrun.

I’m in total agreement with you about both the time limitations and the plot turn. For a second there, the idea of an evil Roslin scheming, ala Margaery, against Cersei took hold and wouldn’t let go.

PS, I like Tobias Menzies too. 😉

  92. SarahM,

There is no evidence that Bran warg in to dragons, Night’s King. Also, if anyone is going to survive it will be Bran. He’ll gather all the knowledge and be next 3ER, and passing the torch later on to someone. Arya has a bit of foreshadowing in the books but I think they all survive. Jon, Bran, Arya and Sansa.

  93. Danny:
My understanding was that while Robb was King in the North, Bran was Lord of Winterfell when the Starks were still fighting the War of 5 Kings.Am I wrong? He acted the part of Lord, he met with banner men and made decisions as the Lord of Winterfell.

Bran was acting as lord of Winterfell while Robb was away, akin to a castellan. In 610, Jon calls Sansa “the Lady of Winterfell”, meaning that she’s the owner, and the viewer guide reflects that.

    lakin1013:
and not appearing on set until now

These photos are from the same filming period as all the other ones, they just weren’t released until now. These are, in fact, more photos of Sophie on-set than we’ve gotten since she stopped filming in Dubrovnik.

  94. Sean C.,

It’s going to be tricky. Sansa is, in Bran’s absence, the legitimate owner of Winterfell but Jon is King and Commander of the entire region yet having no seat of his own he must rely on his “sister’s” graciousness and hospitality. He could take the Dreadfort, Sansa is Ramsey’s widow but Jon is still the commander of the army who defeated the Boltons so he could take ownership without issue. However, I think it is in the Starks’ benefit to keep the KitN seat at Winterfell. Sooner or later, if the Starks survive the Long Night 2.0, this will get really tricky and the siblings will need to figure out their living arrangements. I don’t think they have the option to opt out of marriages.

  95. I don’t want to sound like a total hair dresser here, but there is nothing natural about the blonde color you see peeking out underneath the wig.

Now, I will go slap myself.

  96. Instagram is beating WOTW, I saw these images before the date posted .. 🙂 still awesome to see, at least you get some information here and not just pictures

  97. Danny,

Yeah, as I said earlier, it’s not a stable arrangement, particularly were it to continue in the long term. Even if Jon and Sansa ultimately get along, if this were to persist (let’s ignore the coming Long Night, etc.) and Jon and Sansa both married and had legitimate offspring, at a certain point Sansa’s son or grandson is going to wonder why they have the Stark name and the ancestral Stark castle and all its lands, basically everything the Starks have ever had, except for the KITN title, which is held by some cousin descended from a bastard line.

At this juncture, we really don’t know if the info in the Viewer Guide is really going to be relevant to the coming season or not. If it is, it does offer any number of ways to generate friction between the two of them. If, say, Sansa feels diminished because her nominal ladyship of Winterfell is meaningless as long as the king is living there and everybody looks to him for orders, not her (which is what would realistically happen).

  98. Born Amidst Salt and Vinegar:
I don’t want to sound like a total hair dresser here, but there is nothing natural about the blonde color you see peeking out underneath the wig.

Now, I will go slap myself.

Which is why it’s weird she isn’t dying it red since that blonde is dyed anyway.

  99. Jack Bauer 24,

No, it’s not weird thad Sophie decided not to dy her hair red after she bleached them. When your hair are bleached (or half-bleached as the routes have grown) and you dy it a darker colour, it’s impossible to get an even tone all along: the bleached ends get much lighter than the un-bleached routes. I had this ecperience once and afterwards I had to cut may hair very short. So, based on how Sophie’s hair look like, I assume the wig is really the best solution.

  100. Thronetender: DEE STARK and MIHNEA — good to see you on here, at least for a little bit. I admire your strength to stay away from spoilers. I know that I couldn’t/haven’t done it. (and regretted not staying away, but, oh well, it’s my favorite show. Can’t help wanting to know everything.)

Good to see you too <3
Yes, to each their own preference, I love surprises haha!

  101. So L7R posted a few more things but they said none is confirmed yet.

Zumaia will really be Dragonstone and they will use 3 beaches to film the scenes supposed to happen at Dragonstone. Also, they said someone told them Kit IS in Bilbao to film scenes of Jon in Dragonstone. Again, they said they don’t have confirmation on these news.
  102. Sophie is a natural blonde, but that shade is dyed for a movie. It’s possible she may have more shooting to do and that’s why she didn’t dye it back red for GOT filming. It’s also possible the bleach blonde damaged her hair a bit and didn’t want to put more chemicals in it for now.

  103. Dee Stark:
    Boojam,

i didn’t even notice that Marg wears a wig lol

    Elizabeth,

yes, I come around sometimes.. miss you guys ? but the last few posts have been major spoiler titles and I get scared to even participate in non spoiler articles for comments that may give something away!!! Its going to be a loooooooooong wait. Lets assume the show will premiere in july 2017, were about 9 months away. ugh.

Well, you are a far better person than I am if you can make it until July with no spoilers…lol. Way to go and MAJOR KUDOS to you! Yeah, winter is coming and they are predicting a long, hard winter for us (not sure about you, but pretty sure most of yours are) so I decided I’m busy now but after the holidays if my life slows down I’m going to rewatch all 6 seasons and hopefully it will take me to July. Stick with it, hon, you’re doing great!

  104. This spanish journalist posted on twitter that

the cast is already in Bilbao and they’re going to start filming tomorrow in Barrikahttps://twitter.com/Belategui/status/788135405547819011
  105. Danny:

    You are correct!

  106. Ok so the actors are already in Spain.I wonder if we will see the usual suspects or there will be some surprises.

  107. Elizabeth,

    Where abouts are you?
I think we are supposed to have bad winter too, but it will start late. that’s what I read, but theyre also never right. lol
Yeah.. I am definitely going to rewatch season 1-6.. I absolutely cant wait to watch season 6… I haven’t done a rewatch yet!
Right now I am keeping my GOT withdrawls satisfied with the latest GOT reactions video by Filmbuff (his friend hasn’t seen ONE episode of the show and theyre watching it together on youtube)

Also keeping busy with books, other shows, and life. I am a summer girl so I usually cant wait till summer starts, but even more so this coming summer! LOL

  108. So rumors are that

Emilia is already in Spain too. Imagine if we get confirmation of a Dany/Jon scene lmao. This comments section will implode
  109. Dee Stark,

Heyyyyy Dee how are you? 😀 Yes, I do enjoy it very much, I think it shows great potential. The actors are amazing and Ramin’s score is excellent, can’t wait till the OST is out to buy it. Its writing is so far complex and very clever. And I already love William to pieces xD Do you like it?

  110. ACME,
Ha! Thanks, that put me in a fit of laughter for a good minute. Now, the whole library thinks I’m a crazy person 😀 Reminds me of those troll dolls from the 90s… Boy, I just cannot stop making fun of babies, what’s wrong with me?

    SarahM,
Interesting. I didn’t know that she said that. That makes me a very happy Panda 😀
Apart from that, I can’t really come up with a narratively satisfying death for Sansa. A sacrifice for her family, as proposed by some, would leave a bad aftertaste for me because it would seem as some sort of redemption, and I don’t think the character has to be redeemed (as of now).

lucy: I believe GRRM has said Bran is one of the characters to make it to the end

Characters making it to the end doesn’t mean that they’ll survive the last book/season IMO, otherwise the publication of GRRM’s notes on his original outline would totally spoil the story.

Also I have a really hard time believing that D&D would change something that important just because some characters have more fans than others. On the contrary, nothing makes them happier than breaking fan hearts 🙁

  111. Rhaenys Stark,

HI! I am good how are you?
    I like William also.
Yes, I am very intrigued… but I am unsure where this is going, and I don’t know how theyre going to keep it going. But I will definitely stick around to watch.
Honestly Ramins score is the best part of the show for me. That, and I am loving Evan Rachel Wood as Dolores.

  112. Dee Stark: I don’t know how theyre going to keep it going.

That is what I’ve been wondering. It feels like a show that should have a rather quick end point rather than be stretched out, like it should be a 10 episode mini-series. People tried to expand on the original film with a sequel and tv series in which neither did well. I imagine they must have a good general outline for the future of the series if HBO is willing to get behind it so heavily.

I’m a pretty big science fiction person, and enjoy westerns, but so far I’m just kind of watching it to see where it goes rather than being excited to watch it… if that makes sense.

  113. This is the first time I am posting I usually just lurk, but I just wanted to say “Hi” and say this site is just a wonderful place to go for information.

Sophie’s wig looks fine, I just hope it looks good on film, because I found most of the wigs on the show do not look good for some reason considering their budget.

As for spoilers, I personally like spoilers they don’t bother me or take away my enjoyment of the show and the wait this time for the new season is long that any nugget of information keeps my thirst at bay, but I can understand why others want to stay away from spoilers.

  114. Rhaenys Stark:
    Lord Parramandas,

Hey have you watched Westworld? It reminds me of LOST, which you said is your favorite show. Give it a chance, I think you’ll like it

Westworld? The show that recently aired? Someone made a post about it in LFU yesterday and I know there are many LFU memebers that enjoyed it. So yes, I will probably give it a shot. But I’m not quite sure when. TWD starts soon and my third LOST watch is on horizon…. Well, I will find time.

  115. Sean C.:
    Vally,

The HBO viewer guide refers to Jon as KITN and Sansa as Lady of Winterfell.Which sort of makes sense, in that Winterfell isn’t the nobles’ to give, while the crown can by acclamation be given to anyone. It’s not a very workable arrangement long term, though.

I cannot open the page ….

Just tell me it says Jon STARK is KITN not Jon Snow, and all will be well.

  116. Hoyti Von Totiy,

Hi! I had a problem too it was a 7 pointed star just turning and turning lol! If you try to remove everything after .com it will let you in. I didn’t click on the house page but there is info all over just the front page saying Jon is the KitN!!

  117. Hoyti Von Totiy,

Ummm…yeah just saw that you said Stark all in bold lmao!! That’ll teach me to read and reply on the fly!! Sorry! I tried several times too and can’t view it either 🙁

  118. I’ve never been bothered by the wigs, particularly. But it drives me nuts that they never bothered to lighten Emilia’s dark, dark eyebrows to match!

  119. talvikorppi,

I’m hoping Royce, Robyn and the knights of the Vale will turn on Littlefinger and bring him down. I can see Sansa in the background manipulating things to make it happen.

  120. Firannion,

Thank you too! Actually I had searched for them online and their whole website was in Spanish (obviously lol) so I could only understand a few words. Ahhh…gotta love my public school I was in band so I didn’t have to take a foreign language. Pretty stupid considering one doesn’t quite compare to the other in terms of life skills. But hey, I have great rhythm lol!!

  121. Firannion,

Yes! Me too! That’s how I knew from the beginning that Sophie wasn’t a natural redhead she had brown eyebrows. They are perfectly manicured but they exist lol! My hair is that deep red naturally and I have albino eyebrows and eyelashes haha!!

  122. Roz’s Ghost,

I actually really like that! She can take him down without actually getting her hands dirty. She didn’t physically kill Ramsay herself she just watched in delight as the dogs did it. The people in the Vale don’t like him very much aside from the little Lord Arryn. But he is clearly off his rocker like his mama and can easily be turned especially if it was revealed by his cousin that both of his parents died by his hand. So maybe they decide to make a little trip to the Vale and he gets to finally “make the bad man fly!” And maybe Royce volunteers to push him seeing as he almost had him thrown from the moon door. Royce has been taking note of the various schemes LF has been up to and has voiced his distrust regarding Lysa’s death and how he conveniently showed up right after Jon Arryn died and later he calls him out about Sansa and how she ended up with the Boltons. Sansa has many a note taken herself.

Ha! I can seriously imagine too many ways he could go but I don’t want him to survive until the end. It’s like the hatred for Joffrey lol!

Maybe Sansa should marry him get the funds they need to get what they need and then have him killed off. So many possibilities!

  123. Arya Serious,

Yeh, I would like to see the Mocking Bird lying through the Moon Door too. However, my preference would be seeing him talking himself out of all the accusations only to be ripped to pieces by the wights and WW, when the Wall goes down. Or maybe the FM could kill him for the failure to pay the loan to the Iron Bank? IMO, it would do justice for the character, if the Mocking Bird could trick everyone but death.

  124. Inga,

Inga! (My phone just tried to autocorrect and type infant ugh!) I hadn’t thought about the faceless men coming to collect debts I like it!! I wonder how much the crown borrowed from Iron Bank while he was running the books. Hmmmm…..

My mind keeps coming back to the book prophecy for Sansa that she would bring down a stone giant at Winterfell. I know the show cut a lot of book stuff out but I would like to think it would be LF because he is originally from Bravos.

  125. Fran,
No one seems to have said hi back yet, so “Hi” Fran and welcome to the Wall *waves* 😀 (I think they’ve probably all moved over to the newer posts)

  126. Mary,

These photos were taken at the same time as the others. He just waited to release them. They wouldn’t spend so much money on a wig of that quality if she was just going to die so soon. Keep in mind a lot of the scenes she will be in most likely won’t be filmed until later in the year when it starts snowing.
