The How I Met Your Mother alum took to Instagram on January 19 to announce the !!!! news that he'd gotten married “two weeks ago” in the middle of a *checks notes* “light blizzard” in New York’s Hudson Valley. Honestly, the whole ~thing~ kinda sounds like a funny episode of his hit show until you look at the s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g pics of the ceremony.

“It was an incredible overwhelming snowy bliss-filled weekend. So grateful to so many people I love for making the trip to @thesistersofcedarlakes to be with us. Chanel Iman and New England Patriots defensive tackle Davon Godchaux officially tied the knot with not one, but two events: a civil ceremony in New York on January 10 and an elopement on a yacht (not not jealous) in the Caribbean Sea on February 24, according to an interview the model had with Vogue.

The celeb then added that he and his now-wife ultimately had a “real” wedding later that night: “I got married in the morning. We had a real wedding afterwards, too. [That night, though,] we went to our favorite restaurant and then her parents and my mom were waiting for us at the house.”
