If, like most of the world, you’ve finished Mindhunter, and you got through the second season of Stranger Things the day it came out, you’re probably in the market for a new show to binge.

Well, allow us to recommend The Sinner.

The Sinner, starring Jessica Biel, follows the story of young mother, Cora, who on the surface appears to be living a happy, idyllic life. But one day, out of nowhere, she stabs a stranger to death in front of horrified beach-goers, leaving investigators to try and figure out what made her commit such a heinous crime for, what seems like, no reason.

The stabbing happens in the first episode, so it’s not really a spoiler. But what we would say, is that it’s really grim viewing. You’ve been warned.

The eight-episode series, which is based on the 1999 novel of the same name by Petra Hammesfahr, currently has 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, and people on Twitter are going crazy for it.

As well as Jessica, The Sinner also stars Christopher Abbott from Girls as Cora’s husband, and Bill Pullman as the detective assigned to the case.

Speaking about The Sinner, Jessica recently told Variety: “We definitely wanted you to feel like you have been lied to in the first few episodes because you have been.

“She does know a little bit more than she’s saying. Even though it may not be real, she believes it’s real, but then there’s a moment where she starts to question what she knows, and that’s the point where the unreliable narrator becomes very unreliable even to herself, and she’s now invested in finding the answer, too, because the story she thought was true is just not.”

The Sinner is available to binge-watch on Netflix right now. Just don’t forget to go to work at some point, yeah?
